It's been a while since my last journal entry. Slowly yet surely, I'm trying to pick the pieces back up. I've got, at the least, good news: there's finally an opening at the apartment complex I've looked at, and I should be able to move in this November. I worry about being able to stay afloat financially, but I figure I can keep a specific budget saved away without too much trouble.
I'd decided to just wing it again, for the most part, with the upcoming NaNoWriMo season. I'd almost wanted to say that, if I can't make headway in it, that I should just give up writing. But overall, I don't think I should give up regardless of success or failure. I think one of my main problems is trying to get 'famous' from writing -- not every piece of art is meant for a wide audience, and I need to keep that in mind. Heck, even having writing as a hobby isn't a bad thing.
But I suppose, ever since I began to upload my art online, I've seen myself as something of a celebrity and wanted to keep a good image... hence why I get hard on myself when I have breakdowns like I do.
Just wanted to give a status update for now. I'm doing alright for the time. A little apprehensive about the near future, but I don't think it's unwarranted.

Glad you're doing better now. Good luck with the apartment. It's pretty liberating having a place of your own, though bills are a bitch.
