Kicking off this article series is the quintessential giant monster stomping ground, good ol' Tokyo, Japan!

Tokyo's been the home and favored stomping grounds of some of the biggest and best giant monsters known to humankind, including the one who practically defined "daikaiju" to the bulk of the world, the main event himself, Godzilla. Ever since it was renamed from Edo in 1868 (Keiō 4 to the locals), It's become practically synonymous with "giant monster rampage" among humans and giant monsters alike.
