Apparently fish are running out and pelicans are eating more birds.

Maybe overfishing isn't such a bad thing after all :P

I don't like the gannet - they wet their nests.

Pelicans swallow other birds whole and alive, with nails and beak... shouldn't that hurt?

And can thier stomaches really digest all that and the feathers?

Weird Pelicans.

Do you think birds of prey, like eagles, are cannibals too since they eat other smaller birds?

The video explicitly states that Gannets are closely related to pelicans. Still, probably not 'cannibalism' since they're still different species, but damned close.

Yup! Not that I really mind though. Animals eat animals. (my comment had been intended as a humorous reply - I'll try to remember to stick happy smilies on to avoid confusion. >.> )

Nah... DNA aside, a monkey is still a different species. *looks for monkey at the local market*

I lol at something, imagine that you would travel to one of those contries there humans actually eats monkeys. You see a group of humans eating a monkey, and you shouts: "CANNIBALS!!"

Talk about degradation, those people would probably be angry and beat you up, or eat you O.o (then they would actually be cannibals).

"Hands off the Dodecalicious!"

 Monkeys are not humans. Pelican eating a gannet would be similar to a human eating a Homo erectus.

But it's wrong.

Gannet family: Sulidae
Pelican family: Pelecanidae
