How To Train Your Dragon

Postby Terastas » Wed Mar 10, 2010 12:41 pm

It's a Dreamworks movie, so it probably won't have any solid, onscreen vore, but I'm sure it'll have plenty of near-vore moments, vorish gags and maw shots (there's a near-vore in the clip at 2:10).

Opens in theaters on my birthday too. How sweet is that? :D

Its not exactly vore but there's a moment that's close in one of the ads. The viking siblings are in the arena with a two headed dragon. At first, it goes well for them and then they run into each other and start to fight. The dragon then brings both heads down and takes in both of their heads. It ends with them still fighting in the air with their heads inside

I always love a good animated movie so I might go see this with a few friends. The vid form Shogo was pretty sweet too. Im not sure why I noticed, but the animation of the first girl jumping on screen was really fluid and nice looking.

It looks all right. It's something I'll look out for once it's out on DVD.

Also, for those of you who consider it to be a subset of vore, this trailer has a moment of inflation in it at the end.

The book is great- incredibly different from the movie, it looks like. (Not that the movie looks bad at all! Just an incredibly different universe- the author got jilted just a little.)

I can definitely say that there's one or two chapters in that book that influenced all my vore writing from that point onward... XD

A vore-philosophic dragon. 'Course, his ideas are taken from Shakespeare, but it's all good. XD

Hiccup: "Do you come in PEACE, or in WAR?"

Dragon: "Oh, peace, I think. I'm still going to kill you, though." XD

Any bets on how many threads people will open regarding this movie?

*nods* That tends to be Dreamworks's policy: when they buy movie rights to anything, it's more or less so they can use the basic framework without getting sued as opposed to a genuine interest in a direct movie adaptation. Shrek, Over The Hedge and Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs were all vastly different from the original sources too, but all were much better for it as well I think.

It depends on how many times this thread gets TTT'd, but not counting this one, I'm going to bet on four. One will be started by the first person who went to see it and will list all the moments of vore or near-vore, and the other three will be started by "n00bs" that either didn't check to see if there was one already or who were just looking for an excuse to boost their post counts.

I wonder of those movie nut jobs will come back? I forgot their names, but they sure did make a big fuss about people not wanting to see Where the Wilds Things Are just for the ten second vore scene.
