I was feeding the girrafes (I work at a zoo/sea world ) and the giraffe wrapped it's long slimy tongue around my hand and I knew it was friendly towards me so I didn't pull away. It brought my hand into its hot and slick mouth. That felt sooo nice. I let it drag my arm in a bit further (I was on my own) and I pulled out when I could feel its throat flap rubbing against my knuckles. There was so much drool on my arm it was about 1.5 cm thick. Lovely

ok. A few weeks ago I got to clean out the giraffe pen. But to get everywhere I had to feed her. So I was giving her some leaves. She would wrap her slimy tongue around my hand and gently tugs the hand and slides the leaves off. That kinda made me curious so I firmly held a bunch of leaves in my hand, sure enough she came over. I watched as her tongue slid out between the lips. It was covered in a thick layer of saliva and I wondered how far the giraffe would go to eat. As the thick muscular tongue wrapped around my forearm it tried to pull the leaves out of my hand. Because I was holding them tight though, the tongue brought my arm to its mouth. I had my head down on my arm so I could see what was 'going on' it was beautiful when she opened her maw. I could see the ridges on the off of her mouth, strands of saliva hanging off it, the throat at the back was flexing and was literally dripping with saliva. The whole interior was a smooth, dark pink. Where was I? Oh yes, I didn't think the giraffe would do it, but it brought half of my hand into its mouth. It was incredibly hot and sticky. I felt the tongue dragging my hand to the back of its mouth. Feeling the muscles contract around my arm was like a massage. Eventually my hand was pressing against the slimy throat flaps. Even though I was worried I knew that as soon as the giraffe got the leaves it would leave me alone. I wasn't planning on letting go any time soon. Then it swallowed. It was the weirdest sensation, feeling my hand slide push past the throat flaps and into the mucus lined oesophagus. I let go of the leaves as another swallow would put my head in its mouth. As my hand slipped out a thick rope of saliva connected its mouth and my hand. I'll never forget that day.
