Prey chewing their way out (or belly bursting)

Postby VelveteenDreams » Mon Aug 03, 2015 6:39 am

So has anyone seen or read anything like this? The prey chewing their way out of the predator, or at least killing the from the inside? I myself plan on doing a story based on something like it, but right now I just want to see if that's a common thing. This can also include predators who eat so much that they actually end up bursting in a great big (gore optional) mess. Preferably simply rupturing and stuff spilling out, digested or otherwise, but I also imagine 'cartoon-esque' scenarios where the predator as a whole explodes. Take your pick <3

I've read one good MLP fanfic where wasp larvae hatch inside and eat their way out of the host... Other than that, no I don't think I saw a lot of images on this topic =(
Would be certainly interested in seeing some! =)

As someone who has great interest in predators/gluttons having a bad time due to various manners of (potentially) fatal stomach bursting, rupturing, being cut open, and so on - I have to say that while such and similar material exists, it unfortunately seems to be very rare and a fair chunk of it isn't all that good either. :x

Here are two of my own attempts at "prey bursting out of the predator" : http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14832694/ and http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16874838/ - I'm afraid that the first one is more of an inflation piece, and the second one is only partially about the topic (rest is regular vore etc.), but I thought you might be interested. I also aspire to write more when-ever I manage to gather enough inspiration to do so. ^^;

It is definitely a subject I am interested in, so while I have not seen much of anything about this online (aside from general stomach aches) I might try drawing it myself at some point.

Snakes have to crush the life out of their prey for this purpose.

It's a common thing in media to have a character hack its way out after being swallowed whole but I don't know anything about chewing the pred from inside.

This seems to be intentionally avoided most of the time (even if the prey has weapons/teeth/claws, some aspect of the pred renders them ineffective). I would really love to see stuff like this, maybe a rescue situation where someone lets themselves get swallowed in order to help others escape (like in the native american myth of Coyote and the monster of the Columbian River)? But as to your question, no it's not common from what I can tell.

Eh; the chewing is optional, it just stays in the nature of vore. Hacking your way out is an option for this thread too : 3
I suppose this is a thread about predators having violently hard times due to swallowing live prey.

Thank you for this thread! It has given me an RP idea. And yes I love this concept.

*ahem* You might say that this is kind of a 'thing' with me that I don't get to explore as often as I'd like. However, there is some commissioned art of my characters of mixed quality involving this theme:

- http://gwproject.deviantart.com/art/Sam ... -244553305 - By GwProject over at Deviantart. Warning: Don't go looking to the rest of their gallery for vore art. You'll be disappointed. They focus on combat/peril. This was an experiment they did as a favor to me. (Also warning: Kiiiinda bloody, but this is a chest-burster thread, so...)
- A series by Koponafej on Deviantart involving Thresher and an unfortunate giant Sea Anemone:
-- http://koponafej.deviantart.com/art/Thr ... -331169443
-- http://koponafej.deviantart.com/art/Thr ... -331172192
-- http://koponafej.deviantart.com/art/Thr ... -331172538
-- http://latroma.deviantart.com/art/Thres ... -331172838
-- http://koponafej.deviantart.com/art/Thr ... -331185753

Koponafej is improving slowly, but like me they're only so skilled and a little limited in style. Still, they were inexpensive and fairly quick. I enjoyed the pieces. Pages 3 and 4 are, as you might guess, censored. I've thought about posting the originals (which have outright tentacle penetration), but need to track down the original for page four first.

You don't see the prey chew it's way all the way out, but I think it's somewhat implied.

I made a character for the chat once that's partly based on that sort of theme. http://profile.aryion.com/profile/Jelpaca
It was intended to be eaten (knowingly or not) after which it would either devour the host/pred from within or parasitize them. Never did fine anyone else weird enough to be interested in such a thing though :P

Somehow I'm not sure if I'm proud or sad that a comic which I commissioned, made it here on its own - proud because there's some interest, but sad because it seems that it's such a tiny niché that I need to provide content myself for myself. :P

Also I technically posted that one earlier, too, since it's integrated as the first part in the longer Pokemon story I linked to.

I have a story on this. Not the chewing out part, but belly bursting, if you want to check it out.

I know, I've been on the lookout for similar material for years and I still don't really get to see it outside my own gallery... not to mention I'm pretty much only interested in it when it's furry, seeing as there's some which deals with humans/elves/other humanoids.
