I didn't watch Two and a Half Men very often (Alan's obnoxiousness and excessive personality wore on my nerves), but when I did, I did happen to originally catch that particular episode. Good find, Filiberto.

For some reason when I eat raviolis I just swallow them whole. I have no idea why, I just remember I've always done that since forever.

Choking on stuff, hurting yourself from an object too big or harmful in shape (sharp corners, etc.), throwing up, lack of lubrication/dry throat. Also your throat and esophagus muscles works on their own, same as your heart. They're going to pull down whatever stuff you decide to swallow whether you want to or not.
The most important thing imo would be preparation. Object swallowing can be fun and erotic if done right but if you don't know what you're doing, it can turn out extremely badly.
