I'm not sure if this was addressed but in 83B the harpies are broken. At least for me, going to their planet causes the game to fail.

I'm looking into directx now but I'm not sure what one I'm supposed to download in order for the game to run. Is it directx 9.0 or directx 9.0c?

9.0C is later than 9.0. get that. Space Odyssey will work with any version of directx 9 released later than the directx SDK package used to build it. With the exception of course of DX10-11 as those use a new and fancy implementation.

Directx 9.0c? Ok I'll see if I can find it and download that but I won't do it right now cause of limited download time my internet gives me plus I have work in a little while.

Development isn't. It stopped last month so I could change focus to getting a job. I had someone express interest in doing some proper sprite art for the game though to replace all the pre-rendered stuff I've done prior (which is okay stuff in my opinion, but I'm no artist and I've never pretended otherwise) and should this actually come through and give us a second art overhaul I'll return to coding the project depending on how much time I have on my hands.

Proper sprites would be great, though wishfully made with a teency bit of hand-drawn love instead of just some 3d-screenshot cutout.

You can capture Delphs and add them to your crew by doing the "crashed spaceship" mission on the greenworld, not 100% chance. The simplest way to get them is just openining crew.txt and changing the humancrewdefinition to either delphdefinition or spacepiratedefinition and starting a new game.

I've not touched the game in over a year, not much pleased with it looking back and i'm not supporting it.... So I can't be 100% certain. But aside from that it looks like you don't have DirectX 9 (having directx 10 onwards doesnt mean you have DirectX 9.. I forget but there was a compatability break or something) Get directx 9.

Can anyone tell me what exactly the interactions with prisoners are. Because I hav enever managed to complete a single mission and was curious of what they are. Also is there a way to play as preds without having to mod everything?
