Bodyslide stopped working for me, just the preview window really. says fatal exception... damnit, its really a pain to customize bodies without previews!

It seems to be something to do with the fact that my laptop's AMD GPU is no longer getting driver updates. Thanks a lot AMD.

I cant seem to play through skyrim normally anymore,e very time I install it, I find myself coming here for devourment again after only a few hours of gameplay (followed by dozens of hours modding the shit out of it, because its funner to mod than play it seems.)

Not sure if that's a gpu problem, I'm pretty sure bodyslide preview generation is mostly cpu based, but I may be wrong. I don't think this is necessisarily AMD's fault, as with them in my experience, you typically get 80% of the product for 60% of the price.

Unless of course your laptop is also running an AMD cpu, then it may very well be an AMD problem . :silly:

Note to all: I am a customer of both AMD and Nvidia and own active warranties on gpu for both respectively, and I feel mostly unbiased between companies.

I often wonder how I'm still interested in Skyrim, then I remember that it's a result of Devourment. Vanilla skyrim realistically only has about 200 hours of replay value. The 600 hours after that is all modding and then playing with those mods. Once you get past 800+ hours, there's not much to do unless you can create and follow rules for personal roleplay sandbox scenarios of which can generate additional replay.

While that may seem a bit odd to some, I find it quite reasonable, when also considering the nature of this communities RP chatrooms.

Throw in some recreational drugs on top of the experience, and that's how I occasionally go about spending the greater part of the day enjoying Skyrim without doing anything that has much to do with TES lore. ^^;

Cheers!

It should work by default. I've used succubus with it for a long time

Save and reload it to get those missing devourment powers on a new game. I recommend using alternate start mod to skip that whole intro after you have seen it enough. Great mod for starting new games and testing stuff on new games. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/9557/

I really love the belly mesh you provide in your mudpack Kongpow, I just wish there were some smaller options (as opposed to only bigger) because I'm an oddball who likes small bellies.

Oh? The default in that pack is a fuzz1029 mesh and is the 3rd largest size out of 4 the meshes in the pack. Try Gat's belly mesh? In data/optional custom belly meshes/originals, copy paste the meshes folder and merge it with your existing meshes folder in skyrim/data.

However, as for getting the exact shape of that fuzz1029 made smaller scale, I do not know if it has been done yet...

yeah, I use the one in the "original" folder and love it. but just wish it had a smaller scale option. I often flip back and forth between it and EBBB because of the smaller possible belly, I find the size of the ninode belly with ~2 people in it to be my preference for size. and the insta-digestion doesn't bug me much. just wish that the shape of the belly was a bit better

Speaking of which, I remember eading somewhere in these threads that multi-prey was possible with the Non-EBBB devourment (perhaps through an addon or something). Am I crazy? was that discontinued/unusable? if its available could you point me in the right direction? I find the idea of safe-swallowing all my followers to keep them with me kind of appealing. :)

would be cool to replace the imperial/thalmor/stormcloak escort encounters (where they have a prisoner) with one that is the same in all aspects, but the prisoner is kept in one of them's gut.

I'm have not tried it, but I'm pretty sure you can make the belly mesh attachment smaller or larger via edit/transform/scale by editing the HDT belly ninode in skeleton_female via nifscope. If not, there's likely something else in nifscope that does it.

Multivore is possible, but there is an unseemly belly size flicker bug that happens because timescale digestion was never intended for multi-vore. Basically devourment will start flickering between belly sizes according to amount of prey and the digestion timer for each individual prey. Several have tried to fix it, but no one has succeeded yet.

Also, it can be a little buggy with the non-lethal g key I think, but it should work for multi-voring companions non lethal.

I'm pretty sure you can get Gat's and Fuzz1029 meshes working with .7 ebbb, so in your case, you could essentially get the best of both worlds? I have not looked into it much unfortunately.

Working multivore in .65 would make a devourment addon that changed to a larger belly mesh size when multi-voring very relevant. (This is what Fuzz1029 made that gigantic belly mesh for I think. There's a video about it somewhere.)

cheers!

I created a Devourment add-on that makes a predator's belly emit a sloshing sound whenever she walks. It attaches a custom footstep to the armor piece, so it'll only work with versions that use the belly armor. I tried to model the sounds after MIB2's Serleena scene, but I'm certain they could be improved. If anyone wants to take a shot at creating better sloshes, be my guest.

I made these a while ago, but they should work for any version of Devourment that uses the belly armor. They won't work for the node scaling only versions I'm afraid, due to the way I set them up.

Oh? So these only play when the belly is full then? If so, thank you so much, I'll test this out in a couple days when my r9 390 rma card arrives. I'm probably going to have to add this to the mod pack lol.

A couple years ago, I edited the high heel footsteps sound mod to include sloshing sounds that I took from two high quality vore animations. I ended up deleting them because those slosh footsteps would play always no matter what if the player was on wood or stone. If your .esp does what I think it does, then it fixes that old immersion breaking problem.

I'll be sure to take a swing at forging some sloshy footstep sounds for this in the near future and post them here. I mostly used the sounds I found in one of Fidchell's amazing animations when I edited those footsteps last time. http://aryion.com/g4/view/267187.

Thanks again for sharing this with us!

There's a copy of them in the mod pack, check my blog or signature.

Oh those are good! Thanks!

Edit: I'm going back over the GSDS audio and reducing the bass on all the gurgles later today. Should be much less cacophonous when I'm done, and it will make the footstep sloshes more audible.

Edit 2: Here's the slosh sounds I'm currently using, I'll probably edit them more at some point.

It's a bit surprising how much the sounds add to the... fun. And are kinda amusing. Shame we can't have NPC's react to them. As when im stealthy around and the big gut goes *CHHHUUUURN* in the cave with echos..

I had a quick question about the belches and other sounds. Is it possible to extend the amount of sound files used? It would be nice to have more variation instead of two per gender. Any idea on how this can be changed? I'd imagine it's in a script somewhere.

Sloshy footsteps are the best footsteps. As far as npc reacting to devourment sound goes, I feel the same about the belching/woman sounds. I guess a possible work around would be some sort of addon that dramatically lowers the players ability to successfully sneak while full?

RedHaze wrote:I had a quick question about the belches and other sounds. Is it possible to extend the amount of sound files used? It would be nice to have more variation instead of two per gender. Any idea on how this can be changed? I'd imagine it's in a script somewhere.

It's possible and probably not to difficult as Redblue322 already laid the ground work when he made gsds on a request from me. I'm horribly bad at coding unfortunately, and don't have the time to learn it.

That's actually something Redblue322 had planned to do at some point, but we lost interest. If someone where to extend GSDS, I'd probably go and design some new audio to go along with it.

I'm pretty sure the code that would need to be extended could be found in the GSDS.esp

There's also that getactorbase() bug which is still causing generic npc like bandit and forsworn to default to male audio:

tariq wrote:First of all, thank you for creating this. It's a marked improvement.

One issue I've noticed is that while gender-specific sounds are activated correctly for named NPCs, generic characters including bandits, Forsworn, and guards are always male. I believe that the issue is that these are leveled actors. As such the call to GetActorBase() (http://www.creationkit.com/GetActorBase_-_Actor) is returning the base, male object.

I've tried compiling a version of the mod that uses GetLeveledActorBase() instead (see http://www.creationkit.com/GetLeveledActorBase_-_Actor) and this seems to do the right thing - devouring a female guard uses the female belch sound files now. I don't know if there are other issues with that call, however, as this is the first time I've changed a papyrus script (the number of steps that were necessary to do so was surprising).

If anyone thinks they can fix this, please do so!

Everyone is more then welcome to modify, extend, or repurpose GSDS and it's audio. If you do, I just ask that you please share it with us!

Cheers!

Edit: I've figured out how to configure bounce and jiggles hdt to increase belly jiggle. Still fine tuning it, but it's starting to look really good and more realistic then the CoP HDT preset. (B&J is a better representation of the effects of motion and gravity on the fatty adipose tissue of the breast, versus the CoP HDT motion resembling a jiggling jello orb that has more in common with the effects of water buoyancy then realistic breast physics.)

That being said, B&J was never meant for oversized bbw assets, and the jerky movement I'm slowly ironing out through trial and error really shows it.

Also, has anyone managed to get TBBP bounce animations working with a HDT that supports belly physics while using xpmse?

i am loving the new footstep sounds. it just gives it that much more of a realistic feeling (implying this could ever be realistic without intense scientific research and advancement). the weightmorphs addon is awesome as well and gives it that little bit of immersion that nothing else could. i swear, this mod's really been brought back from the dead recently and i love it.

...also, y'know what i'd support in a heartbeat, even though it might not be entirely relevant? the ability to eat some of the non-food stuff in your inventory. i'm seriously getting tired of having to find a shop every time i want to get any benefit from getting rid of my stuff... :v

We may get CoB Adiposian bbw race support for devourment at some point in the near future too. That body was originally created by Coldsteelj afterall.

If you where you where to pickpocket those items into an npc's inventory then eat them, or simply place the items into a slain corpse and then eat them... you could? ^^;

You don't gain anything from that aside from the regular devourment stat gain though.
