Since it has been around two weeks since a post regarding progress, is everything still alright on the devs end? Just worried is all.

Re: R.A.A.D.D Runner v2.05f (Finally out)
as a Patron to tritium we got to see a "work in progress" version including a boss he had done the animations for. but it was heavily loaded with bugs and quirkyness. Far from stable to be sure, anyway, I am not one of the devs but its fair to say that work has been done on the game and there is still much more to do before eatme releases a stable update.

Yeah how dare they take time with a free update for a free game! This is an outrage! /s

Wasn't the whole point of this game engine rebuild because a select few amount of people were having ram issues ?

So eatmes working on changing this, but as usual parents.
He got the new boss "Krystal" in it tho but hes still ironing out the issues with that

Hi,
In this new version, only 5 types of enemies
In the old version more than 24 types of enemies.
Why is that? (I can not read the previous comments)

Gonna try to explain with the memory I have. I believe it was because, like tritrium said, the game was using a whole bunch of data, and that's no good. So in order to lessen that, eatme, the programmer of the game, started from scratch on a different game engine that they have an easier time programming with and it also uses less data than the previous versions. Since they started from scratch, there's only a few enemies that are coded right that can be in the game.
How's that? Was I in the ballpark?
When it comes to most bosses, thank god for obvious, glowing weak spots.

I really hope this isn't an internet disease, this can get out of hand really quick...
Two fish in a tank, one says to the other "so, you know how to drive this thing?"

A new boss eh? Very interesting... Can we get any details and/or hints? Or is it all top secret?

It's not "Top Secret". But you can only get the detail if you support the artist, Titrium, on Patreon.

Mostly because the animated ones caused mega problems in the previous version.

Pretty much this. They kept causing an "out of memory" error that crashed the game

Ah. So THAT'S what caused it to crash huh? Pity. I really enjoyed them.

Re: R.A.A.D.D Runner v2.05f (Finally out)
A little bump here, my apologies for any crushed hopes.
There hasn't been any progress reports recently, so any words for us fans patiently waiting?
Anyways, I checked out Tritrium patreon recently and noticed he's been making some nice animations, however, it made me wonder.
RAADD's Main character is still the same small sprite animation as before, which isn't bad but feels very out-of-place while next to these other higher quality animations.
Are there any plans on updating the MC sprite, to something more similar to the monsters?

I will speak of Afrobot because he's spoken about this to others already.
At this time they won't be updating the Player graphic because there would simply too much work involved for a free project.
Since Tri would have to go back through EVERY animation and redo them and then re-render them. Would just be too time consuming for the result.
You can Blame Eatme for not picking a better player sprite in the first place. ohoh.
