I picked it up, sort of as my thanks to the creators for all the wonderful experiences RPG maker have given me (and it was darn expensive at full price), Esthe Hunter, Nyan Nyan Adventures, The new MGQ, and more.

Also while we are speaking RPG maker. I have for a while toyed with the idea of making a game, but I've been unsure about what RPG maker to use. Whether to use VX Ace or MV... That is the question. Though, now that I have actually gotten VX Ace legit I guess that would be a heavy weight in it's favor.
I'm currently a developer for Lurking Lizard Studios currently developing Predator's Coliseum.

DarkPinkie: Personally, I highly recommend VX Ace over MV. MV just isn't as user-friendly and it has way higher requirements for some reason. Scripting's a little more difficult to use on VX Ace but there are plenty Plug 'n Play scripts on the internet specifically made for us who don't know how to code. Getting your hands on MV could be a good idea though since that gives you access to its resources, especially its music, it's friggin' awesome.
