The music :/

Posted a few weeks ago by Preykill. And yes, the music gives the vid a somewhat pornographic feel, especially since they start it just as the dogs begin to rip into the prey :gulp:

P.S. Gosh I hate how biased people are towards horses. We eat meat and it's okay to slaughter cows but it's not okay to slaughter horses. It's okay to have videos of zebras getting violently killed and eaten by wild animals but all horse ones must be taken down! Similar picture with any other form of violence or abuse towards them! Just search this thread for "horse" and you'll see that all videos mentioned here (only 2 to begin with) has been taken down, that's just not fair =(

Not much here, but at about the 3.15 mark a hyena is seen eating a stallion (his testicle I think. I notice things like that, lol)

I also LOVE when preds give some "love" to private regions of the prey as well as elegant rear legs on equines. I just adore the fact that most of the time they start eating from the rear side of the underbelly and most often than not the first thing to go are privates.

In any case, your post doesn't seem to have any media or links attached to it, so what exactly did you mean by giving me the time stamp?

P.S. Even though equines are by miles my favorite prey, I most often have to do by watching stuff with Zebras, so they are kinda my second favorite after equines because they have a similar anatomy. It still sucks that I can't seem to find ANYTHING with the horses... ANYONE, please help me if you have ANYTHING at all to share! I will be very grateful! =P

Awesome video, thanks man! That's the first time I saw a downed horse get devoured (not just a separate leg or other piece of a horse)! Also, daym... that testicle shot is amazing~
The pervs at national geographic or whomever filmed this knew exactly where to point the camera when the interesting stuff happened. I wish it was 720/1080/4k p and had a rear view or was zoomed out so we could see the rest of the body cuz it is hard to understand where it is biting... although the ability to see how it chewed and then sent the piece down the throat is amazing on its own! It must have taken some serious balls for the channel to show horses getting wounded and devoured like that!

BTW, here's the same video but without weird looping and glitches: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y20y_ZEn_uY.
I wish they would have published or at least sold unedited full-length movies of the events =\
If anyone has anything else stored or on the net - fire away! =)

Gotta love the 9-th one (the one with Zebra rear close-up). Dat legs and half-torn pussy!
Thank gods zebras look similar to horses and don't get the same crappy excuse for being house pets and therefore protected from abuse videos/photos being put on the Internet =\

This one is really pretty good with alot of very close shots, excellent sound and fair lighting. Three male lions tear a male warthog apart alive.

An excellent video capture under the circumstances. With pro lenses they manage to get an insanely tight and steady closeup.

Very impressive. When I was in Africa I watched as four lions were fed a donkey carcass in an enclosure. I knew it was gonna happen, I had my camera with me and thought I was all set up. What I recorded was absolute shit. Garbage. So I now have a healthy respect for anyone who can pull off a good vid under less than ideal conditions....even perfect conditions! lol.

Also, I can't help but see that three male lions eat in a completely different way then if it were three female lions. It seems the males are alot more archaic in the way they feed where the females are alot more clinical. I think part of the reason is that there is always a bit of tension between males where the females cooperate and get along easier. The males spread out and give one another wide berth at the kill.....so all parts of the prey get chewed on at the same time. Females concentrate their feeding more at a single spot, such as the lower abdomen and work outwards together. Make sense?

Nothing gory at all here. One hyena and one buffalo bull. Very strange behavior so I thought I'd share.

Lone lioness with two small cubs begin to devour the zebra she killed. Too bad it's a short video.

for SkyWolf, recently found images of a horse devoured by wolves:

Maybe someday this will be documented in a manner that better catches our attention, but with horses being domestic animals and usually someone's property, a firsthand observer would probably act to stop the attack rather than document the grisly scene.

Wow, this is AMAZING, thank you so much! I wish it was a video, that would have been like the best thing of the year for me :D
In any case, yes, you are right about them being domestic and it hindering in our cause. Though there are wild horses out there and no one is stopping people from going out and documenting how hyenas devour them, it's just that people don't do it for some reason. The blatant lack of content with horses actually brings me closer and closer to trying out something IRL... Anyhow, keep sending cool stuff if you find more, it is very appreciated! :)

More carnage (is that a fitting word for tearing meat?) found recently.
