However, if you ever read some of the Halo books (Particularly Halo: Ghosts of Onyx, my personal favourite book), it is revealed that Elites simply "eat" via a tube that dispenses a strange paste, which is present on all Covenant vessels, and provides Elites with all the nutrition they need quickly and efficiently. A task well within the Covenant's technology level.
If you don't want to go through the hassle of reading the books, http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Sangheili is an exceptional site with tons of interesting information.

So they cannibalize for the sake of eating an actually tasty meal. Makes perfect sense.

I've never heard of Elites ever being cannibals. Brutes? Yeah, they eat each other (But are nowhere near as sexy), but Elites eating each other? Where did you read that? Or are you just talking from vore and not canon?

Oooh, I like the sound of that. Those devious, snidely Elites.

Snakes have a 'mandible' like arrangement in their jaws, most notably in the lower jaw and to some extent in the upper as well.

It's also worth noting that the Halo devs have said that Elites' faces were designed off Snakes.

Also, while there is a food tube thingy, all the races had to eat something before they joined the Covenant, even if the Elites were pretty much the second race to join in (after the Prophets, naturally).

Now that I think about it, has any Halo freaks here read anything official about female Elites? I know for a fact they don't appear in games, but I never read anything on females, or even the LACK of female Elites. Though fanart is relatively numerous, if the official series showed females that would rock, even if they lack most sexual dimorphism.

I'm not a great source for canon information, but I remember seeing mention of how a one of the Sangheili you can play as in Halo 3's Campaign co-op, Usze 'Taham, was sired by a renowned sword fighter who'd chosen to mate with the wife of a wealthy Sangheili merchant. There's also very specific mention of how Sangheili 'Aristocrats', that is any Sangheili who's displayed the combat prowess necessary to wield an energy sword, is no longer considered eligible for marriage upon receiving his own personal energy sword. However to ensure that the genetics of a skilled Elite are passed onto the next generation, these 'Aristocrats' are essentially allowed to breed with any female Sangheili of their choosing.

Wow... I can't believe I actually never considered going to Halopedia. That's, like, the only site I go to for Halo info. Thanks. It is a very helpful site.

I'd think that Sangheili would not make very good meat eaters. It's pretty clear that their jaws are not made for chewing, and they are certainly too proud to be cannibals. The nutritional paste is probably grinded down from other creatures however.

I know for a fact that Grunts eat dead bodies though because it was mentioned in the book. Plus, if you manage to knock the rebreather off one in a game you'll find that the have a set of sharp, nasty teeth. So cute :silly:

Well there are a lot of meat eaters that don't chew, or have teeth for that matter. Snakes are a stirling example, and there's no shortage of them in vore. Plus, we're sort of looking from the soft side of vore, so whether or not they can chew is relatively redundant. Not to sound like a dick. ^^;

Image= LAWL
But while Grunts may be cute, they will never be anywhere near as sexy as Elites.

In the meantime I'm going to have to put my terrible artistic skills to work and try to produce one more Sangheili vore pic for us .00275% of Eka's to enjoy. :lol:

A few hours of digging though the internet reveals yet another buried treasure! Ha! I will not allow this thread to simply die!

But dude... Goddamnit I really hate drawing... I really, really do... I am good at writing and an avowed poet, but if I could draw as well as I write, dude... you have no idea...

You know, I really wouldn't mind sloshing in the belly of an elite. :gulp:

I love Elites though, after playing Halo 2, they have gained so much respect and love from me.

I think grunts are adorable. In the game, they're funny. I love when they're sleeping...I just want to cuddle them.

Any who, imagine being in the belly of a brute, or a Jackal or even, Cortana (sp). Yes, I know Cortana (sp) is a computer, but open your imaginations here.

What about Hunter vore...that would be mighty interesting on the account they're made of millions of tiny worm-like creatures.

Ditto. :)
Besides, who wouldn't want to see a tiny Spanish conquistador get eaten by an Elite? :silly:

I've thought of it out of curiosity, but I've come to the conclusion that it'd really be no different than normal worm vore. Each 1.4 meter long worm lives, thinks, and eats independently and feeds on soil, but for the sake of arguement, if Hunters did eat in their whole form, I would imagine that the worms would envelope it's prey and trap them into it's body and then... well, I'm not exactly sure what happens next... ^^;

Excuse me? You aren't very familiar with forum discussion (Or being polite...), are you?
I wasn't complaining there wasn't enough vore with Halo, I was pointing out that there appeared to be none at all, and I was whole-heartedly baffled and truely wanted to know why it was such a taboo thing to consider Elites in vore (see the first few comments). Maybe if you would take a moment and read over the responses to this thread, you'd know it isn't even about that anymore.
If you don't like a thread, you can simply ignore it and move on. When you don't and inanely comment on it anyway, you make yourself look like a total jerk, not to mention a hypocrite, in every possible meaning of the word. Is it really that hard?
Don't ever tell me, or anybody to "cry a river man". That's the rudest thing you could possibly say. I truely hope you will try to put a little more critical thinking into your next comment.
