I heart this! This anime takes me back. A friend and I watched it so much we even named Muraki's fake eye. We call it "Greased Lightnin'". I'll have to show her this artwork. I'm sure she'll love it too!

Personally I think he had a contract with a demon sealed in his eye (hence point of the devils trill arc lol) and then ripped his own eye out so he didn't have to pay up :P

Thats the bit I'm on about. Unfortunately the art style has changed a lot in that part ;_; Muraki is nowhere near as pretty! Neither is Oriya for that matter.
