*** Send me a note and discuss a commission with me before sending any kind of payment. ***
Well, I don't normally find myself wanting to do this, but here goes...
I'll be opening up for a few slots for commissions soon. The only catch is that I don't like dealing with money, and given that the commissioned image itself isn't something really tangible, I'll only accept payment in the form of some other intangible things. I don't make a living off my art and I'd like to keep it and everything involved with it in the "Mostly Just For Fun" realm.
Basically, the payment options come down to a few categories: Steam games (as gifts), EVE Online money (because I'm a poor bastard who's too lazy to go ratting and mining to support PVP ops), or Second Life money (because I don't want to invest any real money of my own in it).
Specifically, here are the options that I've picked right now (note that these are just guidelines and I'm open to discussing them):
Full color - one or two characters, background:
500 million isk (EVE)
1 Copy of Fallout 3 (Steam) (one-time)
L$50,000 (Second Life)
[/list:u]
Lineart - one or two characters, background:
100 mission isk (EVE)
L$10,000 (Second Life)
1 Copy of Garry's Mod 10 (Steam) (one-time)
[/list:u]
Lineart - one character:
50 million isk (EVE)
L$5,000 (Second Life)
[/list:u]
Those of you interested should be well aware of my style, limitations, and artistic strengths by now, but to reiterate: I've never drawn furries, so I'm probably not very good at it. I suppose I could try, but no guarantees. Backgrounds aren't my strongest point, but I'll spend the time to get it done.
On a last note, there's now going to be a footer at the bottom of my journals showing progress bars for all the commission slots I've chosen to allocate. Check for the "[Free Slot]" sections. And ignore the jibberish that's in there right now. I'm working on the PHP script for it as I write this. >_>
So, if you have any interest, send me a note, and we'll work something out.
Edit: Okay, it doesn't want me linking php scripts as images. Go
HERE for commission progress updates.
