For some reason I seem to enjoy watching Sophie struggle with her prey. She is usually so dominant that it's like a breath of fresh air to see the prey actually winning against her. Her frustration makes it priceless. ^.^
Looking at this makes me think "alligator wrestling"; which makes me wonder: reptiles like like lizards, crocodilians, and snakes have strong muscles for closing their jaws and biting down, but they have weak muscles for opening their mouths. Because of that, very little force is needed to hold their mouths closed. What I'm asking is: does Sophie's species share that anatomical feature? Could her mouth be duct taped shut crocodile hunter style?
