Not quite. I get a little bit of supplementary income, but it's way short of being enough to live on. I think that's true for most authors, though. :)

I am consistently amazed that the assholes who play the victim in your stories ever survived long enough to have to be disposed of by supernatural means.

The real world is full of assholes and they mostly get away with it. The initial scenario is actually based on fact. There is a guy famous (relatively) for producing a massage parlour guide and he was blocked by all the major parlours in a city over claims he'd been fishing for freebies. I don't know the exact specifics or which side was in the wrong, but it seemed like an interesting basis for a story.

This was really incredible. I LOVE this type of world setting, and I loved Amanda's thought process. This was truly a creep who deserved what he got, which, to me, makes the story that much sweeter. :)
