Here is what happened:
Garu made a funny face and that distracted Pike as he was pouring milk onto his cereal, so myself and Gridler winded up getting a cold milk shower. Pike knew how to clean us but Gridler was a little nervous, and Garu wasn’t too keen on his human being nervous, but Pike assured him and distracted him with a bone, thus being able to clutch Gridler and myself before slurping us into his maw and cleaning us, he would shortly grow to enjoy the taste better than any cereal and swallow us together down into his stomach until he decided he wanted to eat real food again.
