So a certain artist on FA introduced me to this wonderful species of deep water fish known as The Black Swallower.
For those who don't know, there is a type of fish that lives in depths that no human or man-made machine could ever reach that can swallow fish up to 10 times its mass, resulting in a distended belly much like FT in this pic! However, these fish are relatively small...or so the samples collected (digesting such large prey causes the fish to float to the surface due to building gasses, which kills it) seem to say. However, being so deep...there could be Black Swallowers so large that they'd have no problem swallowing a human!
Well, FT ended up being gulped down by one of these little guys!

Should tackle drawing these myself more x3 even if my fishes tends to end up as mermaids.....
