awww poor lion D:
he could at least be invited over for getting rid of prisoners <_< oh well at least he had a filling meal in the end n.n

Conclusion ~ never act as some crazy animal from a book or movie or you get eaten x3

Actually, it's more like "Don't pretend to be a god, they really don't like that and if they really exist bad things are going to happen to you." In this case the bad thing was having happen to you the same thing you pretended to be the god to do. Gods love eye for an eye punishments. 83

I wonder if there are Animals that act like mascots to get free food x3 "Tony Tiger gonna put you in the tiger!" XD

Foxes and weasels are both known to act "crazy" to convince prey they are sick and safe to approach. That's where the phrase "Crazy like a fox" comes from.

I like it a *lot*. Justice is so rarely a component of good scary vore stories!

The lesson to be learnt here is that you had better be sure a god doesn't exist before you masquerade as him. They don't take it well at all. 83

I guess being digested by a god just means that the hairballs he produces can be sold as relic.

OOh, very nice story.

I like it when prey are fooled inside.

I like how the real Aslan shows up and hands out a beating.

That ending was very, very satisfying, and I thank you profusely.

It is a cheap dodge to bring in an actual god to punish a character, but to be fair he was asking for it and we don't actually know the golden lion was Aslan. It doesn't really matter, since from the point of view of the digestee one stomach is much like another. 83

It's true that the Deus Ex Machina is a cliche that some of the most ancient writers used as a cheap cop-out.
But that was because they were kind of over-rated and managed to write themselves into a corner. In this case, it was appropriate to the story, since we know Aslan takes a very dismal view on anyone who takes his name in vain, and someone impersonating him managed to make him mad enough to trigger the End of Everything.
(And of course we know he has a soft spot for kids. ...A different soft spot than this lion had for them, anyway)

Oh, I'm sure that digesting in a God's stomach would be a more unique experience. I have faith. >;3

Technically, they would be evacuees, not refugees, if they're fleeing from one part of the country to another part of the same country.
Refugees are defined as crossing national borders.

Strega

Common usage, though. "they took refuge from the bombing at a friend's county house."

They are taking refuge, but by most definitions they're still not refugees unless they've crossed national borders.

The setting's not clear though - it would have to be after The Chronicles of Narnia were published, in the 1950s, so it's possible that the children in this story are refugees. But the children in TCoN are evacuees.
