In Monster Girl Quest, the angel is called Ilias. She seems to be kind in the beginning, but she's placed insane and idiotic restrictions on humans and monsters.

Now, for a short history/biology lesson:

Monsters are always born female, males are extremely rare. Because of this, they're forced to mate with human men in order to continue their respective races.
Now, this wouldn't be a problem if it wasn't for the fact Ilias forbade humans from copulating with monsters. Ever, under any circumstances.
Since history is written by the victors and Ilias won a long time ago, she distorted everything to make the monsters out to be the enemies and the cause of all problems, destroyed monster-human relations, and set the monsters up for extinction, forcing the monster to rape men in order to perpetuate their own existences.

The main character, Luka, had originally intended to become baptized as an adventurer and then go out to kill the Monster Lord after his mother died of illness, still neck-deep in Ilias' bullshit.
Until the Monster Lord herself (you find that out later, or he does. It's pretty obvious, really) literally falls out of the sky near him, causing him to miss the baptism. He leaves anyways.

To sum up most of a really long story, he eventually discovers that monsters aren't all bad and that humans and monsters can live together.
He eventually hooks up with the Monster Lord (after numerous sessions of fucking, of course. It's an h-game, after all) and Ilias, who's been visiting him in dreams (and mocking you every time you lose), confronts him.
She makes him choose either loyalty to her, or his new found love for the Monster Lord (You actually get to choose whether or not to betray the monster lord).
If you choose monster lord, then you move into the final part of the game where Ilias wages an active war against humanity "Because they betrayed her" or something like that. You eventually fight Ilias herself.

TL;DR: Ilias is a cunt, Luka's one pimpin' mo'fo', the story is surprisingly good for an h-game, go play the game.

I object to the statement of Ilias, by rule of Alice the First being a bigger cunt. Look at things from the perspective of Ilias instead of just mindlessly taking whatever the Monsters threw at you.

Ilias had been lonely for millions, perhaps billions of years. And as anyone with a little bit of psychological knowledge can tell you, loneliness is incredibly damaging to the psyche. If just 7 years can induce bouts of crying, a constant struggle against one's own mind to stay strong...Imagine what literal eons can do to you.

She did manage to create some Seraphs, but it wasn't any different from talking to herself. This will come up later in my explanation of why Ilias > Alice in terms of being not a douchebag.

Unable to bear her loneliness, Ilias turns her eyes on a little planet below. Carefully manipulating the genome by smiting different species, she hastens the evolutionary process so humans can come around faster. A species that can speak to her.

After millions of years, she can finally have someone she can consider a friend...Until Alice the First decides to unleash her Monsters upon the world. And considering the habits of "Rape all the men dry and kill them when their semen is out" has been going on since the Six Ancestors, I doubt Alice the First wanted coexistence. Minagi, the Succubus Ancestor, not only has enough power to drain the world dry simply with a thought, but considering she's said to have "limitless debauchery", she /would/ do that. And considering in the MGQ world, semen is linked to life force, draining the world dry would result in EVERY SINGLE MAN ON EARTH DYING. That's...A pretty huge middle finger towards Ilias.

And considering the incredibly skewed species and gender ratios, along with the primal desire of the human males, humans and Monsters can't coexist in the long term. Human males would seek Monster brides and produce more Monster female kids. The human females are neglected, and soon die off to an unsustainable population.

Considering the child of a Monster and human end up being a Monster, the human male population would be depleting, as well, until that becomes unsustainable.

That throws a pretty huge wrench in Ilias' plan to have a friend, doesn't it? Not to mention, Alice can't possibly sustain life if her species' main source of food suffered a horrible case of extinction.

Ilias realized the threat Monsters posed to both species. She posed herself as a Goddess and told humans not to fuck Monsters, gambling on her religion being enough to push humans through so the world wasn't brought to a mutual extinction of both species. Sure, history is written by the victor, but we only ever really get a look into "Oh, woe is the Monster race..."

Well maybe if Alice decided to even out the gender ratio, she could do that. In fact, Alipheese the First's entire method of creating Monsters was manipulating the genes of various life forms. Would it really be that hard to break off the single leg of a single chromosome to avoid such an apocalypse?

I thought so. Get your toilet paper, because shit is about to get real.

Considering the outright douchebag middle finger move Alice put on the world, and especially towards Ilias, Alice knew Ilias would react. After Ilias' apartheid on the world, she pointed her finger towards Alice the First and declared war, knowing she wouldn't be happy about the separation. Ilias, at the time, couldn't just kill off every Monster out there, partially because Alice would spawn more, and partially because war would be declared regardless.

Now, throughout the game, Alice is preached as being the superior force, but sealed herself away. Alice knew Ilias wouldn't surrender, so she decided to make herself the martyr for future generations - And to make sure those down below knew a bit of the story, she sent Tamamo down. It also solidified that Ilias couldn't just sweep away the parasitic Monsters, else Alice would resurrect.

Yadda yadda yadda, Ilias tries to kill everything off and become omnipotent, rest you all know. However, Lucifina and Micaela, some Seraphs who sympathized with Monsters - DESPITE ILIAS SAYING THEY WERE NO DIFFERENT FROM HERSELF - fell from Heaven. And after Heinrich, it's implied that the Angel forces suffered a drastic loss of numbers. In fact, Archangel Ariel said she was "one of the few" to survive the battle with Heinrich. That may have been 500 years ago, but at the same time, Angels aren't quite as reproduction-happy as Monsters. And before you mention how horrifying Angels are, just remember that most of them do literally nothing on the surface, compared to the Eldritch Abominations that Alice the First sent out.

Alice was betting on Luka throughout. And he pulls through, sealing the last Seraph. It's also implied he killed poor Ilias, though considering she was hit with the Angel Halo, it's not impossible to think she was only sealed. Moving on:

As stated before, Monsters and Humans end up driving each other to mutual extinction through endless fucking. The Angels, being a timeless being not restricted by the need of human semen, are all that remain...And in truth, there aren't very many.

The last of the Monsters die out over time, releasing loads of Dark Energy required to unleash Alice the First and the Six Ancestors.

But they don't have anywhere to go, right? Wrong. Alice, being the deceptive and power-hungry bitch she is, finally has the numbers and Angels where she wants them. In fact, thanks to the seal placed on Holy power, she can even enter Heaven to finish off Seraph Eden, the only Seraph yet to all.

And because of the power of genetics manipulation, she'd finally create Monster Boys, to create an all-Monster world.

She gambled on nothing more than a prayer, but that prayer proved her incredible strategical prowess.

Maybe Micaela takes up her sword to stop the Monsters from attacking the Angels, but because her power has rusted over the years, she's helpless before the might of the Six Ancestors.

And let me tell you why Ilias starting the war over jealousy is bullshit: Lucifina and Micaela. Yep, going back to them. The first two creations of Ilias, Ilias described speaking to them as no different than talking to herself. She could literally imagine every possible conversation between them. Their personalities are literally pieces of Ilias' own. And considering the strategical one came first, and the sweet one came second - With the jealous and angry one being Third - One can assume that her personality wasn't just split into three between them, but are in order of importance to her. ...Descending order.

And considering Micaela's brilliant mind, it's highly implausible to think Ilias only had envy and greed in her mind. In fact, near the end, we actually see a sweet side to Ilias when she heals Luka - And we know she has a sweet side as soon as we learn about how Lucifina is.

tl;dr: Alice the First is a power-hungry douchebag and the entire events of the game could have been avoided if she just created Monster Males. Ilias tried keeping her humans alive, and was willing to sacrifice Monsters to do so. Coexistence in the long-term between humans and Monsters is impossible due to fucking, and MGQ's largest Batman Gambit is performed by the unseen protagonist

tl;dr's tl;dr: Ilias did nothing wrong, and you Monster-sympathizers are filthy.

I honestly think you're taking this way too seriously.

I was giving the guy a synopsis of what happens and some of what you hear in the game, not an actual insight into the story.

I want to say that I don't care as much as you do, but the story was actually very good, something that's almost unheard of for an H-game, so I'll say this:

I'm sure that long after the first Alice went there were plenty of opportunities that presented themselves so that things could be set right and monsters and humans could've lived together, but she turned them down in favor of her own tactic of total genocide.
There's even the option of finding monsters who would've been fine under her rule and living with humans and then keeping the ones that disagreed at bay, but you know what? You're right, let's just commit wholesale slaughter and wipe 'em out!

I already thought through the biological impacts and the potential for the death of all human females (Which is idiotic to just assume would happen considering you'd have to assume that humanity would actually allow half their species to die off) and I'd still side with the monsters. Whatever good intentions she had, they dull when you're shown the monster she allowed herself to become.

"He who fights monsters should see to it that he himself does not become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you."

I want to side with them because I cannot stand the thought of wiping out an entire sentient race. Weed out the bad ones, save the ones who can be tolerated. Cohabitation might not have been the intention of the ancestors, but that doesn't mean that it can't be forged by their descendants.

Except for the Succubi. They all just gotta go. Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with those men in Succubus Village?

It's also really bothering me that you seem to be assuming that monsters and humans would just end up fucking nonstop until they both die. I have no idea where you keep getting that idea, but I'm pretty sure that wouldn't happen. At all. We've seen monsters who live regular daily lives just like humans, they're fully capable of thinking about and doing things that aren't sex. Honestly, stop for a moment and then think about it. Don't you think that some of the frequent sex scenes in there were blown out of proportion because it was originally intended to be a porn game?

It might take years of transition and training that might not even work in the end, but I'd rather try every other option available first before turning to genocide.

TL;DR: Ilias is still wrong for not even trying to make some sort of peace once the original aggressors were out of the picture, so she's still a flaming cunt.

Now, back to worshiping your dead god, Schutzstaffel.

Only a select few Monsters in the whole game - Most of them from the Harpy Village - feel any remorse about raping men throughout the game, and a very large chunk of them kill the men they mate with. An even larger chunk keep the man as a slave for life.

Perhaps if it was just raping them and letting them go, so they can produce offspring, they'd be fine. But they kill off their own food source, and keep them to themselves. I believe kidnapping and endlessly milking a sentient race for nothing more than semen is far worse than wiping out a sentient race.

And we see throughout the game that the civilian men constantly lust after Monsters, even those that are supposed to be married. Some resisted such fantasies due to their faith in Ilias, but now that that's gone, the Monsters and humans don't have to worry about Ilias being upset about it. The world of MGQ is one of incredible lust, and such lust has side-effects.

To save only the tolerable species would mean wiping out nearly every Monster that isn't a Harpy, Monster Nun, or Granberia, which I'm certain wouldn't be happy if the entire Monster race was being wiped out or kept away from humans, regardless of whether or not they liked Ilias in the first place. The sex scenes may have been blown out of proportion, but the point remains that the Monster still has no qualms in performing such tasks as portrayed in the games.

Perhaps it wouldn't be nonstop fucking, but the human men lusting after Monsters would lead to a decline in the human population. It's definitely not going to be instant. But considering the territorial nature of many of the Monsters in the game, and the fact that men just can't get off to humans after experiencing the pleasure a Monster can provide, would mean every male claimed by a Monster would be unable to go back to the human females to produce more humans.

If one considers how eager Monsters are to rape humans, and how eager so many men tend to be to be raped by Monsters, by the time the humans realize what's going down with the species and gender ratio, it'd be too late for every man who has already boned a Monster.

As ironic as it sounds, Ilias was actually keeping Monsters alive by wanting Monsters dead.

And as stated before, Alice the First could have - And should have - made male Monsters a thing, so that the Monsters and Humans would be independent species, rather than one species dependent on the other. No matter how you twist it, the blame still gets put on Alice the First.

TL;DR: Monsters and Humans can't exist as long as Monster Males aren't a thing, Alice trapped Ilias into the scenario that happened through the game.
