Never the less the rise of the new giant triggered a expansion in nato and arms sales grew, nato expanded in to other countries such as south africa, Australia and new zealand etc . The USA became more militant reversing its discussion the draft and implemented a conspcited military. It carried out more covert actions by the CIA gave them more funding and more powers.
To counter the Soviet Union by 2000 NATO started to fund other orgnasiton such as the Latin pact, the Arab alicne, the African union. The recent rise in the new Soviet Union now called the 4th international or the soviet communist, Sino socialist union. Along wiht a series of communist uprisings and changes of governments. In Iraq, Somalia Lebanon and many more causing a increase in the funding along with a greater intergradation ion of nato governments.
The next serval years brought a series of back and fors with the 4th international in europe, Asia and the middle east , along with Latin America and africa . with one country leaning one way only to be pushed back to the other. 2010 was the year to change that thou. In july the congo government was other thrown by a pro communist government only to be counter couped by a pro nato government then couped agin with in 5 days by the nato supported african union which had now shifted to a more independent, this shift caused a spilt in the nato and the world with new alliances shifted away from nato and moving towards there owns paths. Osme went down tis own path like the arab alliance and Latin pact, others lean on other alliances such the tokyo treaty group was close to nato. Or some even moved to a neutral position like the quad entente tired of being pushed and pulled they went their own way and keeped natural. In the end the congo descended in to a permeant and messy civil war and became pushed to the backburner , as many now wandered on how to deal with the theses rising alliances.
Its 2015 and the world now stands posed over the abyss in to a ever escalating arms race of occult wizardry, sci fi alien weaponry, and superheroes, super villains and supersoldiers its becomes clear that the cold war has just goten more heated and divided
