At least it was warm enough Alice had thought when the men locked her in the cell without clothes. She had been waiting a week. For what she did not know. Other than feeding her regularly, they had left her alone. Finally they came and dragged her out of the cell. They led her down a couple of hallways to a gated doorway. They opened the gate and pushed her inside. She was in a short hallway, with a turn at the end. She looked up and saw a couple rows of theater seating with people in it. Some were looking down, some were looking up at screens above her. Directly over her head was a hovering camera. It followed her down the hall. There were cries of surprise from the audience, some cheering, and then a lot of clapping. She got to the end of the hallway and turned into another hallway with doorways to the left and right. She was in a maze. She followed a path to a dead end, turned around and tried a different path. Some people start calling out "left" and "right". They were not calling out to her. She started to rush. Another dead end, she turned around. There was another shout of "left" and then a lot of cheering. She had reached another dead end. She went back and turned the corner and faced the creature the audience was cheering for.
 The creature had the torso of a woman with light brown skin, with a serpents body instead of legs. She was an illegal zoomorph since she wasn't humanoid. She had a feathered hood over her head and the same green to blue feathers on the back and sides of her serpentine body. She held up her hands and said "I don't want to hurt you" as she pulled more of her long body into view. There were cries of disappointment from the crowd. "Do as I say and I promise I won't bite you. My name is Candace what's yours?" she asked.
 "Alice. What do you want with me?"
 "I'm going to put you in my womb and carry you back to my lair" said Candace. "Now come over here."
 "What happens if I don't?" asked Alice.
 "I bite you and put you unconscious, then carry you back anyways" said Candace.
 Alice hesitated.
 "Please" said Candace.
 Alice gave in and walked over to Candace. There were more cries of disappointment from the audience.
 Candace wrapped around to Alice's back and put her arms around Alice. "Sit" she said as she pulled Alice down. Alice sat onto Candace's coils. Candace's rear end came over in front of them. It opened up like a snake's mouth.
 "That's your womb?" asked Alice.
 "That's my vagina" said Candace. "My womb is inside. Now relax and put your feet in."
 Alice hesitated for a moment, then put her feet on the smooth, slick surface in front of her.
 "Point your toes in" said Candace. Alice did so and her toes entered the tight cervical opening at the back of Candace's vagina. Candace pushed the cervix over Alice's feet and then started over her legs. As Alice's toes came through the cervix into the warm, soft womb, Alice felt something brush against them.
 "What's that?" asked Alice.
 "Those are my cleaning tentacles" said Candace. "They will rub all over your body cleaning off dirt and bacteria." Candace's cervix pushed up to Alice's knees. "Lift your butt" said Candace as she supported Alice's back. Alice lifted her rear and the cervix slid onto Alice's thighs. The lower jaw of Candace's vagina closed onto Alice's rear. "Now put your arms by your sides." Alice did as instructed and the cervix pushed up over her hands, then over her hips. Alice winced as one of the tentacles entered her vagina. "Just relax" said Candace. Candace pushed on Alice's shoulders and Alice slid into the cervix up to her chest. A large tentacle slid over Alice's belly, through the cervix and over Alice's chest.
 "What's that?" asked Alice.
 "That is so that you can breath and we can communicate while you are inside me" said Candace. The tip of the tentacle opened up and covered Alice's mouth and nose. The tips reached up and entered Alice's ears. "Almost done" said Candace in a high pitched voice. Then she pushed on Alice's shoulders. Alice's chest entered the cervix, then her head, then she was completely inside Candace's womb. The soft flesh surrounded her. She felt like she was floating in water. She could feel Candace's pulse against her skin. She could feel warm, moist air blowing against her mouth periodically.
 Candace began to move. Alice was occasionally turned on her side and bent over as Candace went around a corner.
 "What happens to me now?" asked Alice.
 "I take you back to my lair and let you out" said Candace. "If you promise to behave, I'll transform you."
 "Into a zoomorph like you?" asked Alice.
 "Not like me" said Candace. "A foliedi. You'll have two arms and four legs, though your back feet will be more like hands. You'll have a ruminant's stomach so you can eat hay. You'll have a gizzard so that you don't have to chew your cud."
 "Then what?" asked Alice.
 "Then I will take you into my womb every other day and feed on you" said Candace.
 "Feed on me how?" asked Alice.
 "I'll implant a parasite into your womb that will simulate pregnancy to absorb nutrients from your blood. I'll connect a feeding tentacle to the part of the parasite that remains outside your womb to collect the nutrients it has absorbed."
 "And if I don't behave, you'll bite me and do it anyways, right?" asked Alice.
 "No" said Candace. "If you don't behave I'll give you back to the guards. You'll probably end up back in the maze, against a zoomorph that won't be as gentle as I will. Do you promise to behave?"
 "Yes, I'll behave" said Alice. Alice continued to be turned and folded as Candace turned corners. Finally, Candace stopped.
 "Now, before I let you out, I need a sample of your DNA" said Candace. "Open your mouth."
 Alice opened her mouth and Candace stuck a tongue in and licked her cheek.
 "OK, time to get out" said Candace. "Hope you enjoyed the trip." Alice felt the womb pressing against her. Her head passed through the cervix and the breathing tentacle let go. Then her chest came through. She slid onto a towel as her waist came through. When her hips came out, Candace said "Sit up." Alice sat up in Candace's vagina. Candace repositioned and then pushed her rear end out onto the towel. Alice brought her legs up as her feet slipped out of the cervix. Candace dropped a towel on her head. "Dry off and put the towels in the basket" said Candace.
 Alice stood up and dried off. She put the towels in the basket Candace had indicated. Then she turned around. The room had a large monitor on the wall next to the door. It was turned on to some science show. There was a table sunken into the floor in the middle of the room with an empty bowl on it. Across from the monitor was large mat with a bunch of pillows on it. There was a quadruple amputee girl sitting on a towel on the mat. Candace was headed for an open doorway in the middle of the wall with a bedpan.
 Candace said "Asia, meet Alice. Alice, Asia-"
 "Hello" said Alice.
 "I don't know her real name, she doesn't speak" continued Candace. "She just sits there and watches, whether or not the TV is on. At least she eats what I feed her."
 Alice herd a spray of water, then a flush. Then Candace came back out and put the bedpan underneath Asia. She brushed her fingers through Asia's hair. "I've been feeding on her ever since my initial transformation, almost two years ago now. It took a while for me to grow to size" said Candace.
 Alice looked up at the doorway.
 "There's the toilet on the left and a shower on the right" said Candace. "Use them when you need or want to. Dinner should be here shortly." Candace turned away from Asia and laid down on a pillow watching the monitor.
 Alice sat down at the table. After a silent moment she asked "Why?" When Candace looked at her, she waved over Candace's body.
 "Because I wanted a long serpentine body" said Candace. "Because I wanted to feel people inside my belly. Because I wanted to feed on people without killing them. Because I wanted the ability to transform people into whatever form they wanted to be. I guess I didn't think through the consequences of my transformation. No, it's more like I didn't care about the consequences."
 "Was it worth it?" asked Alice.
 Candace didn't answer right away. The door opened and a guard pushed a cart with two large bowls on it. "Dinner time" said Candace. Candace took one of the bowls to Asia and started to feed her. The guard put the other bowl down in front of Alice, then took the empty bowl from the table. Alice began to eat.
 "I tell myself that this would be going on in spite of my being here" said Candace. "That it would be worth it if I could save one life that might have been lost to the maze."
 "Have you hunted anyone before?" asked Alice.
 "Just once" said Candace. "She wouldn't listen to me in the maze, so I bit her. I tied up her arms and legs when I got her back here so I wouldn't have to fight her again. When she woke up, she still wouldn't listen to what I was trying to tell her. She wouldn't let me feed her. So I had them take her away."
 Alice quietly finished her meal.
 Candace finished feeding Asia. "How did you get caught?" she asked.
 "I remember meeting a guy at a bar" said Alice. "We started talking. Next thing I know, I wake up naked in a cell. What happened in between is a complete blank."
 "How do you feel about zoomorphs?" asked Candace.
 "Whatever someone else wants to do to their bodies is none of my business" said Alice.
 "Did you ever want to be modified yourself?" asked Candace.
 "No, I'm happy the way I am" said Alice.
 "How do you feel about being modified?" asked Candace.
 "It's better than being dead" said Alice. "You're not just doing it for your own kicks, are you?"
 "It's a condition for me getting to keep you" said Candace. "Cheaper food source. My own fault really."
 "How so?" asked Alice.
 "The foliedi was my own pet project while Doctor Brown figured out how to make organs that can process DNA and make cells" said Candace. "He took a liking to it and insisted that I use it."
 "Doctor Brown is the one who did your modifications?" asked Alice.
 "Yes, and now I work for him to pay off my debt and remain hidden from the law" said Candace.
 "Doing what?" asked Alice.
 "Making graft tissue and sometimes doing full body modifications" said Candace.
 "You help make the creatures that hunt down girls in the maze?" asked Alice.
 "Yes" said Candace with a wince. "I also help with the ones who fight against each other in the arena. Better that the alternative."
 "Being dead?" asked Alice.
 "No" said Candace. "Being hooked up to a computer and forced to be a prisoner in my own body."
 "Oh" said Alice.
 They watched TV for a while. Then Candace said "Time for bed." Alice watched as Candace picked up Asia and put her into her vagina. Candace pushed Asia into her cervix up to her chest. The breathing tentacle came out and covered Asia's mouth and nose. Asia's eyes closed as her head entered Candace's cervix. "Make yourself comfortable" said Candace.
 "Excuse me" said Alice as she got up and headed for the toilet. She came back out and laid down on the mat making a nest of pillows around her.
 Candace turned off the lights. A soft glow from the bathroom illuminated the room. Candace laid down on mat and pulled a pillow up to her chest. "Good night" she said.
 Alice closed her eyes and fell asleep rather easily.
 Over the next few days Candace and Alice talked about previous jobs, music, and TV shows. They watched TV and played video games. Candace feed on Asia at night, and did not go to work for Doctor Brown since she was busy building the organs for Alice's transformation. Finally came the day Candace said "I'm ready to begin your transformation. Come here." Candace patted her lap.
 Alice went over and sat down on Candace. Candace's rear end slid over and opened up. Alice put her legs in and slid into the cervix up to her hips. Candace picked her up so that her head was next to Candace's.
 "I'm going to bite you now" said Candace.
 "But I'm not resisting" said Alice.
 "You'll want to be unconscious and on pain killers when the umbilical burrows into your belly" said Candace.
 "OK" said Alice.
 "You'll be kept unconscious during your transformation" said Candace. "When you wake up, you'll be changed. Are you ready?"
 "Yes" said Alice.
 Candace bit down on the nape of Alice's neck. They stayed like that for a minute or two. Then Candace pulled away from Alice.
 Alice asked "How long until-" and then she blacked out.
