Very descriptive, though I'm not sure what a piebold deer is (can always google that). The Careful What you Wish for Motif is definitely in play, but used it well with the cat obviously not thinking he was going to meet his end so immediately.

'piebald,' at least in animals, means that their fur/etc. is mottled, usually white. C: in deer it can be small patches to most of their body. Maya is about a 60/40 split with slightly more white than brown fur--but i figured going on and on in the narrative about the exact blend of her coat would sort of take away from the atmosphere.
