Yay shopping time! :V
You don't get to see the actual stats on weapons until you buy them cause you don't really know what the quality of them are.
Tomes will give you the ability to cast magic of that element. As soon as you buy one, you can use basic magic of that element, but as time goes on, you will study it during "off-time" which is whenever you are travelling or resting. This will let you more easily cast spells over time. You can try to cast any spell so long as you know it's basic element, but the stronger the spell, the more likely it will fizzle. Or backfire. You probably should just stick to spell levels that you can manage. :V
For this one, I suggest you do two actions. One for if you wanna buy something, and one for your next action after that (such as talking to a particular NPC).

Head over to the Items Shoppe and buy a camping kit and possibly haggle a little then talk with the Draconian Blacksmith about what this siege armor is about.

Those Siege Armor units sound painful...
Is it possible to desern stats by examine the weapons closer? If so, then let's talk to the blacksmith, and then investigate the armor.

Talk to the blacksmith, and buy a Light Leather harness (In case the current one breaks after battle) and a pair of Hp potions.

>Ask Lamia about focus glove.
Posted by Rayen 8 years ago Report
I meant to actually explain what that was a little. It's basically my version of a wand. Magic weapon that only takes one hand. It's a magic glove. :V

I love the power glove. It's so bad. :P

I agree with most peoples. Talk to Lamia and see if a quest can get us some Magicks... in the meantime though, grab a camping kit.

Talk to the Lamia, but a camping kit sounds like a good idea too. Multi-tasking action woman!

Chat with Lamia Merchant, and buy Camp kit and an HP potion. Adventurers are squishy after all, need to keep healthy.

Short dress spark tome

Is wearing the glove necessary to cast magic spells? And I guess using the glove stops us from holding a sword on the same hand? If Floria can use magic without the glove, my vote is to buy one of the tomes (the spark one sounds useful), and then, strike up a friendly conversation with the lamia shopkeeper.
If we can't make good use of the tomes without a glove, let's buy some better armor, though.

You can use magic without a staff or glove, but it makes the failure rate higher. Also you can use a glove in your offhand, so you can swap out the shield. :V
