The sole survivor finds herself pregnant in the Commonwealth! Her 200 years of cryo sleep protect her from the radiation and guarantee her to grow a healthy baby in her belly. Women living in the wasteland weren't so lucky. Over the last 200 years of radiation exposure and hostile environments have caused the human body to mutate. Human women, like animals have evolved to fertilize many eggs within the body, causing them to have high percentage of pregnancies with multiple children. Now the average children per pregnancy is 3. This leads to higher chances of the parents genes to be passed down. This mutation has also evolved the women's uterus to be able to expand much more from its original size, especially compared to the women of the pre-war world, like the sole survivor. The sole survivor is astonished by the size of the wastelanders belly, she asks how many children she is expecting. The woman responds with " Five so far, I've felt five so far, there can possibly be more but I have no way to check" The sole survivor reflects on this and realizes that she doesn't have a way of checking on her self, she thinks to herself how big she's gotten compared to her first pregnancy. She now starts to suspect that she is carrying twins.
