"Dearest Twilight Sparkle," Twilight read out loud, knowing that Spike would be curious as well. "It has come to my attention that Discord has put into action some unknown plot in an effort to, as he put it, 'prank' you and your friends. While I would hope that his reformation has held, and that it's nothing dangerous, I cannot in good conscience leave you unaware of any potential dangers."
Twilight glanced over to spike, and they shared a look of worry. "Well that doesn't sound good," they chorused, nearly in unison. Twilight turned her attention back to the letter as she got out of her seat, and started pacing.
"In order to be safe, I feel you should track down the other Element Bearers, and ensure that all of you are wearing your Elements of Harmony so that you can counter whatever he had done. Even if Discord is being honest in his belief that his prank is harmless, it would behoove us to remember that his views on the world, including those on what ponies would accept as being harmless, are likely skewed. Oh. Well, this could be bad. Twilight couldn't help but wonder if this was actually just going to be a prank, or if Discord was planning to take out the Elements of Harmony again so that he could do as he pleased. With a grimace, she asked "Spike, what do you think?"
...Why wasn't he answering? Twilight turned her head to look at him, and saw him staring at her, his eyes slitted in an almost feral expression. "Spike?"
