Allison told Jason that she had made her decision and that they'd be going to a little restaurant called Sandwich Kingdom. Jason knew it quite well, as he went there after work at least three times a week. As a creature of habit, he went to that restaurant so often that he had a usual table, a usual sandwich(a BLT with Swiss cheese), and even a usual waitress, Erica Winters. Jason and her had quite a rapport; he always seemed more calm and confident around her. She was always very kind to him and sometimes if there was a lull when he was there, she would actually sit down and listen to him vent about his day and boring life, then he'd do the same as she vented on how the restaurant was always short staffed and she had to also help make sandwiches along with waiting tables, though she'd always say, "But I love serving you and I personally make your sandwiches, when I can, because you are a sweet guy." He always thought he might be an idiot, because he wondered if all the attention she gave him was her hinting at him to ask her out, but even with as confident being around her made him, it might be that his awkward mind was ruining it for him by making him think that all she was doing was being nice. It had happened to him before, where all the other times he went for a girl that was so nice to him, it was just that, she was being nice and sociable.
Thinking of her made him wonder what it would be like to be in her hands. Was she a nice enough person to treat him nicely at such a small size. Then images came to mind, of her constructing a sandwich and then putting him in it. Then came to the thought that it could happen. Allison could be taking him to the restaurant to have him for dinner. She did after all say, "....to have you as a nice dinner date." It was a bit of a stretch, but Jason remembered that his older sister, when they went to the same college, she would say yes to a lot of guys offered to take her out to dinner. She would always say, "Sure I'd love to have you as a dinner date." The guys would always go missing, and later he heard from her best friend, that when his sister got to whatever restaurant with the guy, she would shrink the guy and put him in whatever food item she ordered for dinner, that she spun it with the angle that "dinner date" meant that her date would be her dinner.
Jason's mind kept rambling as they got closer and closer to Sandwich Kingdom. He wondered if it came down to it, would Erica actually go through with it if Allison asked her to add him to the sandwich she ordered. Strangely enough for him, the thought of Erica making him into a sandwich actually made him feel warm all over. He couldn't believe it, but he actually was fantasizing about her doing so, though in his mind, Erica was the one that would get to do the eating of him.
Jason was startled out of his thoughts when he realized he had daydreamed his way from not noticing them entering the restaurant and being seated. What really got his attention was Allison saying, "It looks like my small and smart man is all aroused." He looked down and realized he was at full attention. Allison laughed, "I guess you are all hot and bothered by wondering what fun I have in store for you. Don't worry, you'll have a great time." Jason was a bit nervous about what that "fun" might entail. He was actually hoping that Erica would be the waitress.
Was this the case? Did Allison have "dinner" plans for him?
