Jason had calmed himself down so well that he had fallen asleep. He woke up to the sound of loud bustling about and women talking happily. He noticed that the little clock he had hanging at the back of his cubicle displayed that it was five minutes till 5pm. He was quite shocked, as that meant that he had slept out the whole work day. The loudness around him was from women in the office getting ready to go home and talking excitedly about finally being able to get off work. It didn’t take long for the noise to die down as people left. He knew that if he didn’t get the attention of a woman soon, he’d be spending the night fending for himself in the empty building, which he knew hardly anybody ever stayed after work hours. He ran out into the middle of his cubicle to have a better view out into the walk way between the line of cubicles his was in.
