A lot of people aren't posting new work because their next posts are Christmas related. I can already see a lot of Christmas themed stories and artwork on Christmas. I'm kinda excited.
I am gonna be working on my own Christmas themed story but sadly I've no ideas so far.

Best to go simple and do whatever pops in your head first.
Then just tweak the idea to where you want it.
Maybe check what other artists or writers are doing and see if you
get any ideas from that. Someone might be doing a scenario you
might like to try out too and give your twist on it.
