It's no longer about just tricking people with dumb lies/pranks/etc.
People put legitimate work into silly ideas they get, making full-on productions just for the lulz. It's fantastic.
In particular, this Smash-like game I play, Rivals of Aether, recently got a free spinoff dating sim, available on Steam. It's about as furry as you can get, and I love it:
