I've been diagnosed with cancer. A very rare, very aggressive, with a very high chance of recurrence even when cleared.

In the best case scenario with proper treatment I have 2-3 years, that's at best and I don't yet know the full status on my condition as it proving troubling to find the skilled level of care I will need. Only 20% make it to the 5 year mark, so I'm doing my best to come to terms with the fact that my end is near. I'm already unraveling, and should I receive treatment I will certainly not be the best of me. I wish I could have had time to create all the things I wanted for the community. Hey! So I am getting quite the stable of characters and while I love some of them, others are gathering dust. So I am labeling some of them as available. The tags go like this.

Available - Free use : Most likely to be used with fanart characters I have no rights to in the first place. Use however you see fit, no permission required.

Available4Use-Permission required : These characters are available for use by whomever asks, I just want to make sure that they are used by people who would represent them well. Also to make sure too many people use them and flood rp chats with the same character. Note they still belong to me and I may use them in future art.

Available-adopt : If you see this character it means I likely have no future plans, and if...

Short of it, I SHOULD be getting lots of extra days off next month and may do some art for people.

This was supposed to happen earlier on, but people quit at my job and I had to take on lots of extra responsibility and that meant losing all opportunity for vacation days. But now I've got some people trained, and systems in place so people can replace me without fear of the workplace falling to pieces. So I can take days off again without worry! I'm still going to limit my commission intake when it happens, I'm more interested in building skill than getting big money, and since I get paid vacation I'll already be being paid for drawing! Getting money from the people who hire me is just a bonus (to pay off mountains of debt).
