A Joyful Return! (Wedding + PAX Prime)Hey, everyone! I'm back safely from my trip!
In short, it was an absolutely amazing experience in so many ways. My brother's wedding was lovely, small though it was, and surprisingly, I was asked to step in and be a witness, which was an honor! It was also the first time that my three siblings and I have all been together in the same place since we were very young. Incredibly memorable. And best of all, I gain a new sis-in-law who is fantastic, sweet, and a joy to hang out with and talk to. A number of us even got together after the wedding and talked for around 4 hours, reminiscing, exchanging stories and things, and it was just really nice. I also spent time with my sister and her family, which was likewise enjoyable. Took her two children to one of the local zoo + aquariums, and it was really fun! (Oddly enough, I think I was more enthusiastic about it than they were! Haha.) Played a lot of games with the kids, talked with family, enjoyed a lot of home-cooked meals from my sis, and all around had a wonderful time. We did a little bit of shopping and such and I actually indulged in buying some girly clothing, since I don't get many opportunities to buy such nice clothes around where I live. And I can finally say that I own a hoodie now, too! And then there was PAX Prime. I was overwhelmed by the sheer amount of people and everything there was to see and experience in all of the different buildings. Even after spending three days at PAX, we didn't nearly see everything there was to see. And waiting in line to play some of the games was taxing (like standing for 2 hours, LOL!), but it was a load of fun and an experience I'll definitely never forget. I wiped the floor with contenders at the Splatoon booth and really amused the Nintendo employees. That was fun, haha. The panels I attended were amazing and inspiring on so many counts (and have interested me in possibly trying to find an indie game company to put my art efforts into). The real cream on top of everything at PAX Prime, though, was meeting Markiplier in person. He didn't have much time after his panel and the signature session had been booked up and capped hours prior to the panel (so I had no chance of getting to meet him there), but in the five or so minutes after that panel, Stef (my sis-in-law) pushed me up to the stage and I got over my nerves enough to seize the day and hand him a piece of fanart I drew of him in person. He thanked me very sincerely and even got a picture taken with me while sporting his crazy happy smile. I'll never forget it. AHEM. Anyway, I have not seen anything vore-related in weeks now, so I'm doing my best to catch up where I can! I plan to open commissions probably this month, but I might actually be for October, instead, since I nearly forgot that I run a pairing week at the end of this month which I have not prepared anything for yet. I apologize for the delay! I'll definitely be getting back on RP tags and such soon, as well. Thanks for being patient with me and I hope you guys have been having a great time the last few weeks!

I was indeed very fortunate that I was able to meet him, which I'm extremely grateful for. It was unforgettable. And thank you! : )
Well, I didn't get to talk to him much, because he was in a rush after the panel (he was going straight to a signature/signing session from there), but he was everything I expected him to be: genuine, funny, and an all-around great guy. Despite being as tired as I'm sure he was and pressed for time, when I told him I wouldn't have the chance to see him again (since he would be there Monday but I would not) he accepted my fanart and thanked me for it and even took a picture with me. And this was after the convention workers were urging him to get moving. He really makes time for his fans even when he doesn't have any and he's just amazing.
