Blog Subject:  Day by Day...

I just feel that the vore community doesn’t really have much room for girls like me. I’m surrounded largely by men who want a woman to eat them and finding people I can relate to is really hard.

That isn't to say that "no one like M/F vore" or anything like that, but as far as preferences go, there are not very many people who prefer or favor it in vore. Some just say "Well I like that, but I like this other thing more", etc. I'm doing my best to get more material out there, but I feel like it's unlikely to ever effect the bigger picture, even a little. And I just don't really feel like I'm making many friends or fitting in.

Like I said on tumblr the other day, it’s really, discouragingly difficult to find M/F vore material. I try to add to the number as much as I can myself, but it’s still disappointing to see the utter lack of it. And most of what exists also includes things I don't like, such as female preds and F/M, F/F, M/M, etc.

It really sucks having preferences that aren't very widely liked or accepted.

But anyway, I apologize for this in part. The closer I get to my birthday, the more down I tend to feel. Happens pretty much every year. Hopefully this will pass. If it doesn't... I dunno. But I've been dead on my feet lately as far as vore goes, be it drawing or RPing.

Hope it gets better for you, M/F has been a joy of mine that I've stumbled upon more recently with myself, and I'll be getting more of it made from some friends of mine in the near future, I too shall help aid in the growth of M/F just will take time :3

My sympathies. As a guy, I know I can't say I know the feeling but I can at least understand where you're coming from. Try not to let that discouragement keep you from enjoying what you DO have. After all, at least there are a some outlets for M/F here, few as there are. It does suck there aren't more M/F lovers, but the few that there are, are still HERE.

And, the way I see it, the lack of lots of good M/F is an opportunity. I enjoy finding new ways to fill the void. That way, when I add something new to the pile, I can at least say "No matter what people say about it, I've given the world one more M/F story." Makes the work more rewarding, knowing your helping explore the uncharted regions.

The vore community is, of course, largely male, largely heteronormative, largely submissive. Can't be helped. At least it isn't ALL male/het/sub/whatever. So keep on advocating. You aren't alone.

Just do what you enjoy. People will always take notice if you enjoy your work and others will follow. I hope you continue to keep doing what you like.

I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling down but you don't have to apologize just remember that one voice as long as it keeps on calling can make one big change. People will follow remember the discussion to make a male pred scenario? It had quite a bunch of interested people. hoping you feel better soon I'm sending you a big hug

While my favorite will mostly likely stay F/F or F/M.
However in the last couple years I actually have fallen for M/F and I have some stories coming that feature it.

Let me tell you why I started writing, there wasn't enough content that i liked out there. So I created my own. My first story stunk, I mean, by comparison it was horrible to what I can do today (It was... Well more than a decade ago, wow I'm getting old, oops, this isn't about me, its about you! My bad. :( ) . While it stinks that your mojo is playing hooky right now, and that there is a lack of your favorite type of vore. Sadly right now you are on the front of less popular, however you are not alone. :) One thing to remember is that the current trend may be for F/F, but it takes peopel putting other art out there that he or she likes to start swaying people the other way around.

Now I just have to remember if you like digestion or just the big belly...

I didn't even realize this was a thing. Maybe it's because I don't roleplay, or because, aside from posting my own stories and following artists, I don't have much involvement in the community. Either way, try not to let it get you down. I write a lot of M/F, and plenty of readers seem to enjoy that. I'm sure there are many who love your work even more, and plenty of other M/F fans out there. Keep your chin up, keep making your wonderful art, and try not to get discouraged.

I understand how you feel. I've had a similar thing going on concerning couple vore, where a girl falls victim to a pred and takes her boyfriend/girlfriend with them to share some final moments unless safe-keeping is involved.

I also like safe-keeping in M/F scenes...

I've been noticing the lack of M/f vore since my interests have recently shifted to be equal parts pred and prey, too. I'm not sure if it's just me, but there DOES seem to be more art (or at least more that fits into my personal interests) over on DA, with the likes of Jessica-Rae-3, Lunafex, Mega-Monochrome, and the like. There's even a group committed to it called M-Preds. There's also Zera_Kori and Jitensha, which I believe are on both here and DA.

I'm honestly wondering if it's not so much a lack of interest as it is a lack of an artistic touch. I know that if I personally could draw, I'd be adding to the pile. Even if that isn't the case, you shouldn't let the opinions of the majority dissuade you from making what you want to make. If it's something you like, make it because you like it.

Your art is beautiful and a lot more people love it than you think. Not everyone leaves comments, most of the time they're watching from the outside without ever signing up. Feel better and know you are appreciated :)

Yeah, I'm aware that it will take time. I'm not expecting things to change instantly. But like any normal human being, I simply get discouraged sometimes and feel pretty far out in left field.

It's not as though I'll ever change my 'likes' just to suit the norm or to cater to others. I've never been that kind of person and always stuck to my guns. Sometimes, I just really wish it wasn't so hard to find things to enjoy in a community so big, but with such a small place for people like me to cram into.

Also, just to clarify, this isn't about my art or whether people comment on it or not. If it wasn't clear from my post, what's discouraging is finding other material that isn't my own to enjoy, and finding people I can relate to well in this vast community. I know that I'm not alone, but at times it feels like a desert in which no water or even the mirage of it is in sight.

As for DA... there's not a lot I can do there. I don't want to connect my main account to anything to do with vore. I'm nowhere near comfortable enough with my like of this fetish to take such a step. But that said, I have enjoyed the works of said people you listed. Though Zera has ignored any comment or any time I try to talk to her, so nevermind on that one, at least. And while I know about the M-pred group, it seems to be largely composed of M/M material, which I am not interested in.

But thanks, guys. I'll keep doing what I'm doing. I guess everything is just getting to me more than I'd like, lately.
