Situational Quandary

Permanent Linkby Scaylid00d on Tue Feb 14, 2012 7:49 pm

As if I'm not absent enough already, I'm afraid I'll be away much more in the coming times D:

I'm trying to get myself a freelancing job started which will involve a lot of movie-making projects, a field which is rather demanding O: So naturally it will take up the majority of my attention and time.

This means I probably won't be responding to notes and comments promptly until I've got myself a steady work flow going :P

Now... additionally, it must be admitted, I've been feeling somewhat uneasy about the perverseness of my shenanigans as of late. >_> I feel like I should actually draw normal stuff again for a while just to even things out. Like G2Cutie states on her DA page,
"My fetish does not define who I am"
And indeed, vore isn't the defining characteristic in my personality.

Some things I may not have shared before:
♥ I have a great love for guns, particularly rifles, since I grew up with them o3o;
♥ I love wide-open desolate spaces like the ones from my home country.
♥ The whole post-soviet aesthetic of Eastern Europe and the former USSR holds a strange, haunting and captivating appeal to me. That almost natural decay in man-made structures feels peaceful in a way ^o^ I believe this is because of where I grew up as a toddler, but quite frankly I wouldn't want that place to have been any different! :heart:
♥ I studied film for a year before, and I've been told that I've got talent in it :D I've been teaching myself editing since grade ten, and since then known I've wanted to make movies and such, so who knows, maybe one of the features you'll see in a decade or more, maybe I'll have made it? o//u//o Here's hoping...!
♥ I don't believe in evolution. (Ya, come at me for this remark, bro! o3o) But I don't believe in Creation neither (Fwew! XD) Though I'm not agnostic either! My world view is fairly simple: looking around, I notice things work way too well to have come about by pure chance, so I do believe in some sort of creator to this reality we live in. ^w^ (Please don't try and debate me on this, cause I'm not interested. I've read and watched quite a lot on the subject, and I can probably expand on my views, but I feel it unnecessary. Focusing so much energy on religion is what starts wars! O: )
♥ I've a great appreciation and love for music, and I've been teaching myself how to play keyboard for some time now <3 I've written two pieces for my own films before ;)
♥ I am pro-gun, and pro-life =P Law-abiding civilians should have a right to defend themselves with the most reasonably effective means, and please let the kid have a chance! D: That's my basic view on those topics.
♥ I was the kid on the playground that was usually alone, keeping to his own thoughts, or hanging out with a small and specific group of friends c;
♥ I really love salt.

There! So that's that, ne? XD Sorry everyone, but of course my coming ventures won't necessarily take up every bit of my time C: I'll still be uploading any little sexy-time works I happen to make here and there~ ^3^ Sorry as well for the long read, just wanted to put it out there. Remember comments are always appreciated!

Take care all, and all the best! Yours Scalifically,
Scaylid00d ^u^b

Taking a break from your fetish is absolutely normal, for everybody including myself, so do what you want to do ^_•. SALT IS BAD FOR YOU IN LARGE AMOUNTS. DON’T EAT SO MUCH OF IT ! >:(

All the best in your film-making!

I also enjoy the gentle decay of large structures. Mines are particularly dramatic, especially if it happens to have a working lift and you can go underground. The dark down there is supernaturally thick.

I've got to bite, but I won't belabour the point :P Snowflakes look pretty structured, being all symmetrical, but would you say there is a sentient snowflake creator? There's randomness in the (distinct) processes that lead to both complex life and snowflakes, but there's definitely more to either of them than just simple chance. Your comment on evolution tells me you don't understand it. If you think you do, and have the time to burn talking with a random dude on the internet, by all means PM me. I'm certainly not arguing from any religious POV, rather, because it's such a beautiful idea that it really should be understood.

Anyway, as I say, all the best!

Like AndrewLondon, I'm going to honor your wishes and refrain from arguing with you, with a "but" attached. I just want to ask one question for the purpose of clarification, because saying you don't believe in Evolution is a broad statement and might not mean what you think it means. So, to put my mind at rest: do you not believe in abiogenesis, or do you not believe in speciation? The two are very different things, but someone might easily think of either when they say "Evolution".
Want to write a story, but don't know how? My tutorial series, Bitter's Writing Methods, might help you.

XD Hehe, no worries I know that! It's made out of two types of poison after all.

Thanks! ^o^ An that sounds kinda like the hostel I grew up in :D
With the snowflake-god, I wouldn't say that's not a possibility :3 Who's to say our creator would even be singular? Maybe the Romans and Greeks where on to something.

Thank you :D I'm saving up for a industry-standard camera, so I'll need all the luck I can get!

I know that micro-evolution has been observed, and it actually happens :P Adaptation in other words? But the origin of every organism from a single cell, I wonder about =u=;
