Holiday Wishes

Permanent Linkby harek on Sun Dec 25, 2016 10:05 pm

Hey everyone! I've got a few words to say today as the holidays close out 2016.

It's been a packed year, full of ups and downs. Out in the real world, politics have divided our neighbors like never before, more reboots are displacing classics, and many great celebrities have passed away. We as a culture have found new reasons to hate each other.

But now it's the December holiday season, a time for celebrating the goodwill and joy among us. This Christmas was pretty small for me, but I got to spend it with a lot of great friends here in the vore community. All of the efforts we've made to reunite this community through new outlets like Discord are finally starting to pay off. I've even started wiping away my block lists and opened up for reuniting with some long-lost friends here.

Because honestly, it's not worth getting worked up about the kind of people you end up around. I shouldn't have to be repellent of things I used to love (like Rush) because of bad blood with fellow fans. Too...

Voresphere Discord Chat

Permanent Linkby harek on Mon Mar 28, 2016 3:58 pm

Not long ago, my search for a solid alternative to the tedium of Skype groups led to the discovery of Discord, a new chat service designed for gamers but able to support all kinds of interests.

If you're not familiar with Discord yet, it's a one-click chat where you can join through a simple invite link and stick around on web browsers, mobile devices, and even on its own standalone program. It has the ease of Skype with the functionality of a VOIP chat program like TeamSpeak, Ventrilo, or Mumble. That functionality comes in the form of multiple voice and text channels per server, meaning you can move a large topic aside into another channel without disturbing the others or needing to make an entirely new group.

Many artists in the community have already made exclusive Discord servers for their supporters, but by far the most widespread public server is Voresphere!

Click here to join the server, it's that easy!...

Apology for Childish Actions, and Updates

Permanent Linkby harek on Fri Nov 06, 2015 7:00 pm

After several months of stalemating, I think it's time to come clean. I had been acting rashly, irresponsibly, and immaturely over issues that had torn apart friendships over my stubborn arrogance. And I am sorry for all of it.

--

Many of you may remember Vore Institute, the webcomic I championed as the dawning of a new age of vore, and as part of AVI Art planned to be the start of an idyllic hub for creators in the voresphere to thrive on collaboration. Little did I know that a creative culture clash, as well as my inability to solve frustrations between sects of the crew, would very quickly result in the splitting of the group not even halfway through releasing the first batch. The comic was on a hiatus since then, and many of you no doubt presumed it died completely.

One thing I tried to do in the aftermath was to apologize and pledge my commitment to endorse the endeavors of those who left. I sent out payments (split from the batch's Patreon earnings) to every single member of the...

New Mumble server!

Permanent Linkby harek on Sat Jul 25, 2015 10:35 pm

Today, I'm very pleased to announced that my group AVI Art now has a Mumble voice chat server!

We've been bringing plenty of friends along and testing it out for the past week, and now we're ready to spread it to the rest of you in the vore community and beyond!

Currently, our server has a 25 slot capacity, but if all goes well, hopefully we can expand it for all of you.

Please click here for more information on Mumble and how to join!

Vore Challenge Starting Tomorrow

Permanent Linkby harek on Mon May 25, 2015 9:18 pm

Tomorrow at 1pm Eastern, I'll be embarking on something I hope you folks will be able to enjoy: taking on De-Vore's 30-Day Vore Challenge!

The challenge itself is designed to bring artists and writers out of creative block. For me, however, it's an opportunity to both get better at sketching and give you all the chance to get something out of it!

For the next month, I'll be doing quick daily streams where I sketch out some chosen viewer suggestions based on the theme of the day. Expect movies, videos, music, and multistream guests!

On top of that, I'll continue to do collaborations and recolors on stream too. Check my commission info for prices and details!
