When I first started years ago there was a somewhat strict quality control of writing on the DA Felarya group (My username was AmericanHero45 at the time in case anyone from there can remember it). I didn't really appreciate it at the time as someone learning to write creatively and draw but man, I learned some of my best writing advice from that and I wish that QC was still there, as time went on the mods rotated or left and the writing quality went downhill. I think that and the creators of some of my favorite characters (like Blazbaros for example) left the community and the porn kinda overshadowed the stories and the vore.

That said I do have a story in mind of a one-time crossover with my newish world of Voromanti, just waiting on permission from the big guy to actually namedrop it instead of just implying it.

But for me, it was a matter of respect and people not taking inspiration from my ideas without acknowledging me and undermining what I was doing in the process. The day that finally broke me is when Karbo uploaded a picture of a harpy with a headband and a hairstyle just like my OC Helia. I felt like the rug was pulled out from under me.

Excuse me for chiming in this far off in 2023 but... wow. Reading this felt like a gut punch and I wasn't even the victim. I'm really sorry that this happened to you. I really feel your pain here.

While a person has to be credited for ideas, they apparently don't have to be credited when someone clearly takes inspiration from their ideas, leaving them holding an idea that will now never be canon in the way they envisioned. And I never asked for my ideas to be removed from the wiki (which ended up happening). I rage quit in 2013 and deactivated my DA account, losing a lot of work that I had put into Felarya. But like you said, shame on me for not understanding from the start that we were merely providing ideas, not collaborating.

Phew. I backed off of pondering fanfiction stuff for Felarya myself. Looks like I was wise to give it up. Again I'm sorry you put so much into that only to find it was not a collaboration. I can certainly understand Karbo not wanting what comes with a collaboration but some people have in fact contributed to the lore, which makes this even more of a gut punch.

To me this will serve as a lesson to stay out of anyone else's realms, period.
Experiment: Will a grenade kill a giant naga by exploding in its belly?
Test #1: Inconclusive. Grenade exploded in naga''s mouth.
Test #2: Inconclusive. Grenade exploded in naga's throat.
Further tests delayed until another live specimen can be acquired.

Felarya? That's a name I haven't heard in a very long time. Surprised to see so much drama went down with it, seems like an absolute rabbit hole.

I always felt Felarya could’ve been a mainstream thing, like a cartoon or film series.
