Favorite ways that preds torture prey?

Everything I enjoy most has been named already...
Except treating the prey like food. The pred should let the prey know obviously that it's not a human being any longer but mere food with how things developed (And that's ideally done with a combination of the already mentioned things). That really pushes my buttons.

Same here. I like it when the preds argue about how they should cook the prey and talk like he/she's a piece of meat. The best example is this story by Beatrix Potter where the rats bake the cat. Another one is "The Snow Queen's Revenge" when the pig chef talks about how famous she'll be by cooking the bird and how she's going to prepare it, while the audience knows that the bird is very smart and thus all of her potential is wasted for making her a meal cooked by this fat pig. I also like it when preds tell the prey that they are nothing but a meal and ignore their pleads. However, another favourite of mine is teasing the prey about how it's going to disappear, or in the case of soul vore, how they are going to be sentient fat forever. Last, but not least, I enjoy it when the potential of the prey is wasted by making it nothing but a meal, as I mentioned above, shattering all it's dreams and hopes just to feed a predator. Of course I love it when a pred teases the prey with this fact.

It looks pretty normal, until you notice that the prey's shirt is stuck between the pred's teeth. Kept on a short leash to be safely sloshed and bounced around and partly entering the throat without being swallowed. I find this particularly cruel mouthplay. Maybe the pred will be toying until either the prey has had enough and remove its shirt, or the clothing gets damaged and rips off.

I like one or a combination of these. I won't use all of them in a story or scenario as it's overkill, but all appeal.

- Belching in the preys face. Perhaps with an unsubtle aside comment about how that's a preview of their future.
- Licking or spitting on the prey.
- Explaining the digestive process passionately to the prey in detail, before telling the prey that that's where they're going in a few minutes. Pointing out on their own body that the prey will venture through. Perhaps even have a pred show the prey vore porn, if the pred is an actual voraphile themselves...
- Definitely referring to them as "food", that's a vore trope for a reason!
- Maybe have a meaner pred talk a bit of trash. Tell them how they're going to become a piece of shit, sarcastically say "have fun being digested" or just "have fun in there" etc.
- Having macros that just play with the prey inappropriately. Insertion, being rubbed against parts of the body (chest, belly), etc as a form of humiliation prior to the vore. Forcing the prey into playing with them sexually telling them that they'll "be on the outside of me for longer" if they comply.

I like a bit of meanness. But as I say, not overboard. my pred Skara, who will be in a future story, though. Is an absolutely mean feral pred, who will do most of that and a lot more.

I do not like the physical causing of suffering. (Well, plucking a bird alive before the cooking game, perhaps, is an exception )... However, there are many ways to scare the prey, both before gulping and after.
Although, I believe that the prey's fear should be replaced by a sense of security soon (I.e. torture should not last too long).

Dating or befriending the prey for a long while and then betraying them is also a pretty good one.

Imagine a girl and a boy dating for years with the boy not suspecting or knowing that the girl is a pred, proposing to her on Valentine's day, only for the girl to absolutely refuse him, dominate him and then start eating him as he cries for the betrayal from the girl he loves, all because the pred thought it would be funny to make a long prank on a prey and betray him at the worst possible moment, it's the time and effort needed to gain the love and trust of the prey that makes this worth it.

Eating food or drinking after consuming the prey, preferably without saying anything, like eating something sweet, just to keep telling the prey that it's just food and now that the main dish has been consumed, it's time for dessert or to drink something to quench thirst.

For me, describing the digestive process to the prey WHILE making the prey either listen to someone else being digested or the pred's stomach growling in preparation for the meal adds to the effect of both. They just fit together for me. Also, with unwilling prey, once they've been eaten, making it clear that the pred finds the process of digesting them erotic can be a good sort of torture. Most of the other stuff I like has already been mentioned.

Hell yes! It's great having a prey encounter their predator to find it's just a little too late to said a significant other. Maybe their starting to succomb to the belly of the pred or already have. Either way burping on a potential prey is an orgasmic display of power.

Another one I really enjoy is the way a predator my Lord over their prey with comments about how weak they are and how quickly their digestion had become. My predators usually like struggles/wiggles so they don't want their prey to give up til the very end.

In my case, big preds may force the prey to walk across the pred's tongue, to let the pred taste the preys naked, sweaty feet, also keeping the prey in the maw in general. (maw, tongue, drool play)
5. Teasing the prey by forcing them to look down the pred's maw
6. Touching, tickling, squeezing the preys feet, telling the prey how delicious their feet smell and taste etc. Feet are very sensitive, and thus great for torture.
7. Forcing the prey to watch the pred eat another female human. Soft or hard vore, with slurping and smacking noises.
8. Pred uses prey's sweat, or drool covered feet to rub its body. ( mostly face, cheeks and belly)
