Another new opinion poll

Hi!

This is another opinion poll about the relationship between predator and prey. Originally, I considered simply making it part of the other one, but that would have resulted in way too many options as many combinations would have been possible. Therefore, I split the question into two, and present the second part here:

What should the emotional relationship between prey and predator be like?

The options are as follows:

The predator hates the prey and vice versa : Quite obviously, this points to an outright enmity between the two parties involved.

The predator loves the prey and vice versa : Equally obviously, this should apply to all kinds of intimate, positive relationships.

The predator doesn't care about the prey and vice versa : This would basically be the nature approach, where it is eat and be eaten.

The predator thinks fondly of the prey, but the prey dislikes the predator : This is the unrequitted love of the predator. Please also use this if you want the prey to be indifferent towards the predator.

The prey thinks fondly of the predator, but the predator dislikes the prey : This is the unrequitted love of the prey. Please also use this if you want the predator to be indifferent towards the predator.

I have no preference : This means you can live with any setup

I don't want to have any psychology : This means you just want vore without any details about emotions and personality

Something completely different (see thread) : You have an opinion I haven't thought of.


Seeing that this is a complex issue, I still tried to minimize the number of options. Thus, some of the responses are vague and people are invited to state their thoughts more clearly in the thread.

Personally, my favorite is predator loves prey and vice versa. That's first place for me no questions asked.

See now I dont really understand how if the predator loves the prey (and vice versa) how it would work. surely if you love them you wouldnt vore them.........or am I missing something maybe I'm reading too deeply into this.

I like it when there's no realtionship or when there's an ironic love for the predator but the predator is kinda just using the prey for food sorta thing, coz that way its just alot sexier in a way. I dunno. maybe it's just me.

does anyone else feel that way?

Well, there are several ways a loving relationship can work out.

For those into fatal vore, it could be the ultimate intimacy of become one. The act of vore is complete union far beyond what can be reached via normal sex. So, vore would be a means to never be separated again.

For those into non-fatal vore, like me, there are of course many scenarios: The predator could use her body to shield the prey from physical danger, or the prey may enter the predator's belly to fight something hurting the predator (shameless ad:see my own Sailormoon fanfic "Now they got Ami" http://www.ranjith.org/gts/texts/Nowtheygotami.txt ). Of course, it could also be a sensual experience for both.

I am sure there are many more approaches to this, but hopefully, my simple explanations are sufficient to answer your question.

I personnaly prefer playful and rather innocent preds.
But there would be no such things as love or hate. The prey would simply be scared and the pred just enjoying his/herself.

I really don't have a preference about the relationship between them, although I do like to see SOME interaction pre-meal. As I said in my reply to the first poll, eating for the sake of eating is no fun, and you may as well be watching Discovery Channel.

Whether they care for one another or not doesn't really interest me, but there should be more than an ambush and a quick snap! That's no fun!
