I think it should be Jora, and she should catch Eshel, but in a dumb way. Like Eshel is safe and Jora can't catch her, but Jora trips and lands justtt perfectly so Eshel ends up in her mouth. Or some other hilarious accidental catching

Well it would be fun to see Elli get mad and then get some revenge, but I don't know if I want to see Eshel end up a meal just yet (eventually though).

Getting Elli frustrated and annoyed can be fun. I know what you mean about Eshel getting eaten some day, but not just yet! Tasty kitty seems to be made for being gobbled up, but not until she's got around a bit more. We'll see...

I really enjoyed this one, as I do with all your human/human stories. I was glad to see a "regular" story posted! I love the themes you use with oysters and transformation, and always appreciate the delicate grace, but ruthlessness of your preds. Good work.

Thanks! I try to vary my pred types a little bit, but this is certainly a type that I enjoy. Glad you liked it.

Whom should Eshel tease next?

For those of you who don't know, Eshel is a nimble, lively little Felaryan catgirl who enjoys teasing and tantalising giant predators with her own irresistible tastiness. And then making a quick escape.

She's already taunted Milly and Elli (briefly, in story 125), and poor, sweet hungry Mina (more at length, in story 162). She survived on both occasions.

So the question is… Whom should she flaunt her delicious little body to next? Crisis - for the sheer challenge of getting away from a very determined naga? Jora, and leave the poor thing hungry? Elli again, just to infuriate her? Malika? Tarynn (as if that poor elf didn't have enough frustrations already)? Anko - since we'd all like to see the mean, taunting mermaid get a taste of her own medicine? Tinatalan and Caylin (if they eat nekos)? Or someone else entirely?

Bear in mind, Eshel lives in the forest directly south of Jadong lake. Being small, she can't travel far. So she can only pester predators who happen, for some reason, to travel through her hunting grounds.

Oh, and the other important question… Should she get away, and skip merrily off, feeling pleased with herself? Or should this tasty little neko get caught and eaten this time, to the well-deserved satisfaction of whomever she was teasing?

Thank you! And thanks for the idea. Quite a few people (over on deviantArt) wanted it to be Jora, and one also suggested it should be some sort of lucky (rather than skilful) catch. But her catching her by tripping over was just to good not to use!

I agree, it's kind of cute to picture Jora with pursed, pouty lips, and Eshel's bare legs sticking out from them before being sucked in.

I'm not entirely sure… I've got a partly written Felarya story, but I'll have to see whether my inspiration returns enough to finish it. Other than that, I've got various ideas floating around, but none that I'm fully committed to.
