(I voted, pretty good, FYI)
You draw in a similar style to myself, although you produce more than me! Bold, detailed pictures with basic but functional colours. And that's all you really need if YOU enjoy producing them - don't get drawn into the trap of trying to draw for a mass, unknown audience... for therein lurks self-doubt and pressure.
All I can suggest (and it's only a suggestion as my own artistic developments with it have been okay, if slow-going) is that you might want to start experimenting with shading. Not necessarily realistic, masterpiece stuff... think basic anime. I reckon with the detail you show off already it wouldn't be too taxing!
I hope that helps matey - thanks for sharing your artwork with us.

you do good, clean art that is well colored and shows variety
of poses, subjects and experessions. Something a few other
artists could learn from.
The suggestion of experimenting with shading is a good one
as well. I so verily sucketh at shading, but have been
experimenting more and more with it as it breathes a little
more life into a piece.
Keep up the good work.

to be hionest i do liek you rwork however i do engoy seeing shadeing .. you rart seems cartoony (obviously) but i believe a few layers of color and shading would improve your art radicly and also give you a variaty of styles to work with later on

Well, I already posted a message in your folder saying that your work makes me jealous as hell; that's the highest compliment I can offer. Just keep scribbling, drawing what you wanna draw, and it'll keep getting better. I'm trying to apply the same principles to my writing, but it's pretty tough; gotta get past that whole 'lazy & unmotivated' thing XD

I've always used Flash [4 thru 8] for my drawings in case I ever get the motivation to animate 'em... although that's only happened a pawful of times. Using Poser sounds like a good idea as I personally suck at anatomy!
Shading in Flash is fairly easy if you apply a few layers 'above' your main drawing and experiment with various masks and 'shades of alpha' - kinda difficult to explain more than that I'm afraid.

You sell yourself a little short my blue friend. If I may suggest, there should be a "Very Good" catagory above Pretty Good. That is what I would have chosen. I very much like your dragon form but as time goes on, it will evolve and change with many improvments as you experiment with different techniques. Look at Armorine and Strega just to name a couple. They are both great, but there is a progression of change as time passes. I think you will do the same. You should hold this survay in a years time and see the response then. Best of luck and thanks!

Wow, Umiriko, I had no idea you drew. I never really visit the archives, I must say as I hold my head down low. But I'm glad I found your stuff, you're actually pretty damn good. I really enjoyed your Cute But Hungry picture presentation! It was quite creative and entertaining!!! I think it's only been one other time I saw a 'slideshow' where the prey was unconscious and then regained consciousness as he was still being swallowed. So I really enjoyed seeing that theme again.
Your drawing is much better than I could ever pull off..TRUST ME...but yeah...if you could learn shading and lighting I think that would take your pictures to a whole new level. Even if your style stays the same (which is already pretty awesome), that shading could really add life-likeness to your pictures. Sorry...I don't really know of any places with in-depth tutorials to help...but I'm sure some fellow artists on here would know.
So keep up the great work, I hope some ppl's advice really help you along to being all that you can be (Outside of the Army, that is ).

A thing that could add to your drawings I think is to vary a bit the widht of your lines. Tick when in shadow/under/foreground , lighter when in light/background.
This way you could keep your shadeless coloring wich suit your style very well and yet have more volume on your drawings
