I decided I will be going in a new direction with my art, since I get a bit of negative feedback on my hyper-real stuff. I hope you guys like it. It's still a work in progress. I'm not bothering to save any of the process work on this one so if you want/need to see sketches now is the time to ask.
The orginal sketch has sadly been misplaced (probably floating around the impervious trash heap that is my room) But if anyone wants to see it I'd be more than glad to post...er look for it, and if I find it, post it. It was for a still-life class I was taking about 5 years ago. Needless to say, the babe was an add-in after I got the graded assignment back.
The cleaned up sketch is in my gallery.

I like the "realistic texture" stuff myself personally. Cause, well, there are less of those around.

Re:
Aw, thanks everyone.
I'm not trying to be a drama queen or anything, but a lot of people say my stuff looks like photo manips so I want to prove that's not the case. This piece will hopefully put all those inquiries to a rest. Also, I want to find out what people like the most.
Btw ha ha...very funny Umiriko...

Are you kidding me?
Your photo realistic stuff kicks ass! And that's coming from someone who's not
into furries.
Trust me, you've got pure $kill. That naga pic with legs was awsome!
"I get a bit of negative feedback..." Don't let it discourage you.
In fact, if a 'bit' is the only negative feedback your getting, you're doing very well.
I think you should experiment and have fun with whatever you want your art to be,
but please, keep those 1337 painting $kills $harp!

Cry me a river
I wish my friggin mother would go away so I could finish this, dangit. She caught a glimpse of the arse and is all of a sudden very uncharacteristically curious.
