Feel free to be more specific about them, too, if you like. :)

I imagined the Latina as a flashy Mexican girl (Mexican woman I find love to where lots of bright jewelry), who has the usual dark eyes and hair, light brown skin, and is very outgoing, talkative, and laughs a lot. Big ass with a lot of curves is a must. When she eats, she would chat happily with her food and not hesitate to flirt and show a little skin, especially her tummy. She would be very kind, but ultimately little people belong in her tummy.

I'm thinking something like this girl without the blue hair dye:

The Polynesian girl could be a Maori. I imagine her as rather haughty and having a personality that seems a little severe, maybe even seeming to have a bit of a chip on her shoulder. Also, she would be very much aware that her people were once cannibals and consumed their enemies. Physically she would be a little on the plump side, and maybe sport some traditional tattoos. I'm thinking Keisha Castle-Hughes, if she gained a little weight. It would also be cool if she painted her face for the competition (traditionally, Maori woman tattooed their chin, but nowadays many paint them for festivals). She would treat her food as though it should be honored to serve her, and maybe will taunt a little if they get out of line, showing off a bit of a sadistic streak.

That's all I got for now.

Also, I liked both Rupali and Hanah from story 89 a lot.

Noted. :)

mojo-2131285: Likewise. I'll think about it, but I'll certainly include characters very similar to those proposals, then! (Though to be fair, I'll leave proposals open a little while longer.)

Groovy. I can try and flesh them out some more too, if you want.

I've now finalised the list of qualifiers. (Though I'm not going to make it public just yet.) On reflection, I decided to use the third North America spot for a Canadian character. So that there could still be a Mexican competitor, I'm setting the competition in Mexico; that way, the host country has an automatic participant. Her name is Valentina Rosales; feel free to develop her character if you'd like, yes. :)

The Oceania qualifier (alongside Carla Brenning) will be Keiki Pareta, a Polynesian from the Cook Islands (which is a self-governing territory under New Zealand sovereignty). There too, you can flesh her out if you like.

I've been thinking about writing a story about the Mexican girl, with your permission. Nothing fancy, just a quick grab and gulp that won't take me more than a few days, though it'll probably be unwilling.

I know you guys are pretty careful about keeping the canon of Felarya and the IVC consistent, so if you are already far along, or just don't think that would work, I can just write about something else and wait for your IVC story to be finished.

For those of you who have an account over on deviantArt, you may like to participate in two polls I've posted there:

- Which character should win the next IVC? (Mitsuko is currently in the lead in the poll. So here's your chance to either strengthen her lead, or support someone else.)

- What should Patricia do? Should she let Carissa eat her? There are quite a few possible options!

If you don't have a deviantArt account, you can give your view here in this thread.

Voters here and on deviantArt have chosen that the next regional qualifier to be written will concern the North America, Central America and Caribbean region.

You can now decide (by posting in this thread, or by voting on dA) what country should host this event.

Suggested possibilities are:
Bahamas
Barbados
Belize
Canada
Costa Rica
Cuba
Jamaica
Nicaragua
United States
other (please specify)

(Mexico is not a possibility, since it hosted the previous final.)

You can also continue to submit ideas for participating characters. (Please note that the story may not be written for a while. I’ve got several non-IVC ideas I want to write first.)

And if you haven’t seen it yet, there’s a new Carissa / Patricia story up here.

Based on the most popular suggestions made here and on deviantArt, the host city for the IVC North America regional qualifiers will be either Montreal or Toronto. You can decide between the two in this poll on dA.

At some point soon, I’ll also make a poll with the most popular choices for the host country of the world final. In the meantime, you can still make suggestions for that here.

Oh, and in other news, I’m back. :p Chapter 8 of DotE! will be up very shortly, and then I’ll be writing a story to see what Milly’s been up to in Felarya.

The votes are in for the choice of the host country for the next IVC final. The combined total from the polls here and on deviantArt is:

Turkey: 27
Japan: 19
Germany: 11
Australia: 9

Turkey will therefore host the final, for the first time.

How do you prefer the IVC girls to behave towards their ‘prey’?

There's now a poll here.

I've created a poll / page over on deviantArt to discuss the host country for the European qualifiers, as well as potential new characters. Feel free to contribute!
