Sure, why not jump into this?

I was already into vore before I even had Internet, but the first person whose work inspired me to post my own stuff and start getting involved was Cownugget.
Now I don't even watch him. :P

But yeah. He did something with Lola Bunny, and I was like, "Oh hey. Looney Tunes! That's the kind of thing I do. May as well add to it, and maybe others will get into it as well!"
That didn't happen, but whatever. That's my story. I'm here now and glad about it.

I saw an old video of Karbo's comic "Naga Feeding Habits" and had no idea why I loved it so much. Eventually I got to this website and found the comic again as well!

Well I first started drawing vore pictures before I discovered it on the internet.

The first vore art I saw on the internet, which made me stop and say "woah, this stuff I like is actually a thing!" was the artwork in BBF's gallery section on his site, and vor-com back in the early 2000's. So "various artists", I suppose :0

I am not really sure. It wasn't exactly an artist who got me into vore but rather I remember going to these furry chatrooms a long time ago with RP elements and somebody told me they would eat me if I disturbed them again, so being naturally curious, I decided to jokingly poke them again and that's when I got into my very first vore situation. It was kinda weird, embarrassing, but kind of fun at the same time.

Back on topic though, the first vore artist whose art kinda helped me into appreciating vore art would be...Diorexity I guess? His vore art is filled with a heavy dose of cute. :3

Can't really say there was a particular artist as I've been into vore since forever. But there have been several artists that "woke that thing up" in me, and not necessarily at the same time. It's like vore is a thing that comes and goes, and certain artists are capable of making you actually feel "into" the vore scene, even if you never stopped liking it.

And some of the most notorious ones are Karbo (the first one to make me realize vore could be much more than just the fetish itself), Metalforever (who doesn't love those big sloshy bellies and the general humor?), Bigbig, Siromamusi (who really needs no description for those who know him).. I'm sure there were others.. some are gone, like DarkMaster (I think that was his name). Also, the stuff by Duamutef, including the games, were also very 'awakening'.

Man, you're really making me show my age here. Not sure if I like that.
I've been into vore well before I knew what the internet was.
I recall a movie from the 80s where the main character stumbled onto a airplane graveyard from WW2 and found some sort of alien device. I think it was call My Science Experiment. In it the device opens up a portal to various time periods and in one of them, one of their friends, a girl, gets swallowed by a T-rex. She is rescued of course but that's what got me into vore.
I first found vore on the internet through the Big Gulp message board, back when that was one of the few places for it.
The first artist and story writer that solidified vore for me was Duamutef with his story Where bad girls go.
I've been into vore ever since.

Myself.

I have been drawing people eating other people since I was a kid. It wasn't any kink back then, that came with puberty, but yes - that is how it all started.

Which artist did you really first latch onto when you discovered the vore community?

I don't remember who actually were the first ones, but early ones were Duamutef, Scrawlerzjp, Mamabliss, ChimeraSynx and Jidane.

I don't think I have a specific "first artist". But I DO know for sure that Nintendo is probably one of the BIGGEST influences that got me into vore! Between Yoshi, Kirby, and the giant fish in Mario games, I am pretty sure they were the ones that got me into vore, at least in the video game category.

When I first discovered what the term was was when I was browsing around Iga-ninja-artist's deviantart a lot. I was already into vore (remember Balloon Fighters (where the fish can swallow you) and that Darkwing Duck episode where he goes into the gameworld and the clown/joker guy gets eaten by a female crocodile? That's what got me into vore) but the vore artist that really brought me in was Iga-Ninja-Artist.

If there was ever a doubt about my attraction to vore then these two pictures really closed the deal for me:

Probably the first piece of art for me (other than video clips etc...) is a story called "An Island No More", which was kind of a science fictiony story. I can't find it on the internet anymore as the site it was on seems to have dissapeared, but have it saved on my computer. It's well written with really nice detail, but I don't remember the name of the artist that wrote it.

I can post it here (clearly marked that this is NOT my own work) if anyone else remembers/wants to read it. I also have an RP done by the same author, but again I don't remember the author's name.

Jag. I can't even remember how I got here in the first place but I found myself on Jag's page and I've been enjoying it ever since.

I first saw Jimmy the Frog by PD, and then Aesir on Eka's, which solidified my preferences.

Drages Amination, I still love the things he produces. I saw one of his videos called "Jurrasic Town 4" and fell in love with it. I've always felt turned on by it, embarrassing to admit.

I don't know if he was the very first, but Steve Game Mountain was pretty early for me.

I'd go back to Shel Silverstein myself. Of course I didn't know it was a -thing- at the time. I wouldn't stumble onto the internet for a few more years. But there was always something about it that drew me in; years before Eka's portal existed, I RPed a planet-devouring scene. (it was playful, but it was still omninom x3).

I don't actually remember now how I found Eka's itself. That's kinda sobering, to have been on someplace so long you can't even remember when it started..

Mike Thaler, the author of the Black Lagoon series.

Specifically, it was the first book in the series, 'The Teacher from the Black Lagoon' that got me into vore.

Anne2Snakie and her story I think it was called Death Fetish Pornography. Shortly after that I found PD and Reddmann's work.
