Stumpled upon a Manga a few days ago, called Uratarou. It's about a princess named Chiyo who is cursed to die at the age of 16, but her mother helps her escape from captivity to find a way to become immortal. She and her bodyguard Jii meet Uratarou, an immortal man who wants to die.
In chapter three, she saves a boy from a huge snake lady but ends up swallowed herself, only to be rescued by Uratarou who claims he wasn't trying to save her but wanted the snake to eat him, hoping the stomach acid would be strong enough to kill him, but it wasn't strong enough so he decided to leave, and ran into her on his way out.
Also in chapter 2, Chiyo is shown with a huge belly after eating a big meal, in case some were curious.
Also, recently began reading the Pokemon Adventures Manga, and in the Sword and Shield chapter the female main character lost her entire team of Pokemon a year prior to the story and is now looking for them. In chapter 10, Hop tells her he found her Arrokuda and leads her to a lake in the forest where they do indeed find it, only for a Cramorant to snatch it up and swallow it. The two then spend most of chapter 11 fighting the Cramorant trying to rescue the Arrokuda.
