RedBoggle wrote:There may be a dearth of kaa vore in canon media, but some of the spin offs have a few interesting bits. A thread made specifically about the more recent indian cgi series showed that there's an episode with Kaa post-vore where he's got a bulging stomach throughout most of it, but a similar thing also happens in Disney's Jungle Cubs.

There are already quite a few scenes from this show but they've been discussed here before, to my knowledge this scene in particular hasn't been mentioned on this site. At the 2 and a half minute mark in the link Kaa captures a bird but frees it because he's already eaten a big yet undisclosed meal. He remains plump for the rest of the first half of this episode stuck in a wall until he slithers off the scene to finish digesting. So, if you were curious what it would look like for the older disney version of him to successfully eat something, there it is.

I never knew what episode was that or how far the thing escalated.

Offscreen in a book? I seem recall that in the book Kaa hypnotizes the monkeys to walk right into his mouth. This latest move was more accurate than the Disney stuff in that Kaa hypnotizes enemy and prey with a kind of dancing rather than with eye contact. In one of the original Kipling stories, although they are good friends, Kaa warns Mowgli to be careful coming to him while he is molting, for his eyes become cloudy and he might mistake him for a monkey dinner!twlightking wrote:the only time there is vore involving kaa is in the original book with the monkeys. but it is off screen.

In old USSR "Mowgly" cartoon was 2 vorish moments involved Kaa: bulge on his stomach and big mawshot during hypnotyzing monkeys, that only hints about mass vore part, but it all was offscreen.
(USSR toon was actuallymade at same time with Disney's Jungle Book cartoon - at 1967, but USSR version was made as more canonical and even some more brutal then book - Sher Khan in book just was stomped to death by herd of buffalo, but in USSR cartoon Mowgly fights Khan 1 vs 1 and killing him in "Samson-style" by tearing his jaws...)

The cooking scene is at 34 minutes, the groundmaw scene little after 49 minutesm and goes for five minutes or so before the kids are thrown up. I didn't notice anything else especially vorish in the movie at a quick glance.
