What ages do you like to use for pred and prey?

I am prey so my Preds could be 9-10 years old through to 40 give or take some years. Depends on the environment and who's hungry ...child Preds would normally have elders to help with the catch and eat together

Personally I also like preds to be younger than prey, with the notable exception of a mother pred. Preds for me probably range from 10-50, whereas prey is typically between 16 and 25. Young prey is one of the few things that really turns me off, unless it's a small age difference for humiliation's sake -- like a girl over 20 eating a guy a couple years younger who presumed to have a crush on her. A young professional eating a neighbor boy who thought he could seduce her, things like that. A larger age difference is fine with the aforementioned exception of milf preds, because damn do I love playing a good milf pred. But still not younger than a high schooler for sure.

As for prey, I adore them young and small, children prey (6 to 12) are my favorite, mainly because they're so defenceless and small that they are safer tucked away in a warm, safe belly and they can make smaller bulges if similar size.

I know it's a big taboo, especially with male adult pred and female underage prey, but to me it's the cutest combination, the most unlikely and the biggest show of gentleness from the predator to keep a little girl safe and sound in his stomach. I guess in a sense what makes it taboo gives the appeal of wanting to take a possible danger to a little girl and turn it into something much different, much softer and safer for the child. I always was a sucker for unlikely friendships too....

I think most of the hate for this combination comes from comes for horrible stereotyping against adult men. Not all men are child molesters and not all women should be around children. To me things only turn taboo when things take an 18+ turn with underage characters regardless of gender combinations.

I only like feral animals as predators, and I prefer them as prey, (though I don't always mind humans or anthros getting involved if I can project myself into their position) so the age can range from about 1 year (in the case of deer) to thousands (in the case of dragons or other immortal or long lived mythical beings).

In terms of equivalent age to humans there's not really an exact conversion because different species mature in different ways at different ages (e.g. a dog might be fully grown or close to it at 1 year, but it likely won't be fully mentally developed or sexually mature, while a human is sexually mature up to about 5 years before they're fully grown), but I prefer young adults for pretty much all species.

Yeah I agree to this, it probably is why it's such a taboo. I never take things +18 with a character that isn't +18, I can see why some people are a little off put by the idea though, especially here since vore is a sexual thing to most here. Still I am glad to see someone who understands!

Pred-wise: Young/younger to 40.
Prey-wise: Much younger (any age for young prey) to 40.

I usually like both pred and prey to be in their late 20s to as old as their late 40s and on rare occassions, 50s but generally rougly 33-49 years old. In terms of male or female pred, though he/she could be a beast who is hundreds of years old but generally looks like a man/woman in his/her mid to late 30s/early 40s. Other than that, I don't like the age differences to be too great. Generally, I like the prey to be from from 30 to 38 years in age. Just the right balance of youth but also maturity. Most male prey generally tend to be guest cartoon characters from some old 1990s cartoons.

I'm 37 as of this writing but most female preds I draw involving me as prey are in their 40s and some even early 50s. Some of these preds are celebrities such as Vanessa Williams, Salma Hayek, Erica Cerra (Especially as Miss Deluca from "Deadly Class" where I made a sequence of her absorbing me Cell-DBZ style), or some faculty at school I found attractive. Prey generally tend to be either some attractive classmates (I never post work involving them) or some post-2000 era singers.

Prey age does not matter to me. It's crueler to eat children, so if it's a non-sexual story and the point of it is to be scary and horrifying, child prey works well there. But honestly I'm okay with any age prey. Predators, though, I prefer to be *old*. The older the better. Ancient is great. Eldritch abomination older than the planet itself, even better. I like predators to not only know exactly what they're doing but to have been around for long enough to know the psychology of all sorts of prey, what's going on with them, and appreciate exactly what they are doing to the prey as a sapient being. Old, bored and sadistic is my favorite combo.

Age of consent needs to be achieved for both parties although if one party is older I prefer it be the pred just because it makes it seem more dominant.
The closer to a literal child that the prey gets the more turned off and depressed I get.
The closer to a literal child the predator gets the more awkward I feel.
They can be in their late or mid-teens but 15-13 is when it starts being awkward and it gets progressively more awkward and depressing the younger the pred and prey become.
On the other end of the spectrum though it's rare to ever come across if prey is on the really frail end of the senior citizen spectrum I feel similarly depressed.
The closer in age a pred and predator are the less yucky I feel in the early stages of aging down but that really doesn't last.
It's just not my thing, probably never will be. I had a pretty vulnerable and confusing childhood I don't need to see that play out in front of me in porn.

When it comes to the predator, I usually prefer them to be a bit older because it doesn't make much sense for a child to be commanding in such a situation. If the predator is younger, then it'll only be when the prey is also younger.

As for the prey, both adults and kids are fine, although I usually won't go younger than about 13 (by human standards) unless a specific scenario demands it. However, if the prey is under 18, I usually avoid explicitly sexual activities, and keep the scene more focused simply on having them eaten. Usually by the predator taking advantage of their youthful naivety to nab an easy meal. Whereas with an adult prey it'll usually require more of a fight since they're not so gullible, and easily tricked into getting themselves trapped unless through an act of arrogance.

This though is all keeping in mind that I almost never do scenes in which the characters themselves get any sort of sexual thrill out of vore. From their perspective it's simply about a predator capturing and eating prey for sustenance, and nothing more. Otherwise I probably would be more strict about the ages of the characters involved.

I prefer both of them to be at least 18, because anything younger than that I feel sad/depressed and a bit sick in the stomach. I know it's fictional, but just the thought of a young child being eaten and digested upsets me immensely, because they experience something traumatic, and in some cases deadly. And there's the whole sexual aspect of it, because I see vore as a fetish, and as with normal porn, underaged characters getting involved is both a major turn off and 100% illegal in most parts of the world.

I write stories about people getting shrunk and swallowed, so any age for the preds, and the prey are usually young adults to middle aged adults who did something to deserve what is happening to them.

I’ve gone out of my way to establish scenarios where someone wronged the owner of a shrink ray gun, and they get their come uppance.

I wrote a story called “Always give up your seat” where a 16 year old girl has a time cube and a neutrino dissimilator (another name for a shrink ray gun) and she goes back in time and shrinks a guy who wouldn’t give up his seat for her mother on a bus when she was pregnant with her.

She shrinks him and brings him forward in time, and swallows him, then vomits him up. She ends up keeping him as a pet.
