Video readings of vore stories

Postby MirceaKitsune » Fri Feb 17, 2017 9:16 am

So I watch a few of those scary story channels on Youtube, such as Mr. Nightmare which is one of the most popular. They basically read (supposedly) true horror stories out loud, on top of a creepy image slideshow and music playing in the background. Being dyslexic which pushes me away from reading anything long, this model of listening to stories has taken quite a liking with me.

Separately I also watch several Youtube channels that do vore slideshows... videos scrolling through photo or comic series while playing fitting songs. PassyVoreX or Danzo Vore are great at making these!

Eventually it got me thinking about a mix of the two models: Videos doing out loud readings of vore stories, on top of ambient music and relevant image slideshows. One example: Reading a Pokemon vore story, with a compilation of Pokemon vore images for the video, and any kind of nice sounding music like the slideshows in the channels I mentioned above.

Has anyone done that thus far, or thought about starting a channel for it? Just thought this would be a good idea and worth suggesting, a lot of people would surely love it :)

Hmm! I definitely like the idea, personally. I'm not sure if it'd be wise to post to YouTube or not, but even so much as linking them to Dropbox or something could work. Question is, whose stories should be recited...? :o

There's only 1 or 2 vore audio readers that I know of... but there guys and its a little bit of a turn off when often they try and do female voices because... they aren't the most quality actors to begin with.

A fair call. IMO, if I were them I'd put my voice through Audacity or something to make it sound feminine when doing ladies' voices. Still, if good reading and acting can be done... who knows? Could be a new venue.

Also, Mircea, I've got to say this thread has made me daydream about narrating through some Throat_Wolf stories on more than one occasion. :o

I have considered making Audio Books of my popular stories. Yet given female characters would be better voice by voice actresses, I have only mused on the concept rather pursue the idea. I have been told I have a "voice like chocolate pouring over silk." The compliment may have gone to my head, which is perhaps why the notion has crossed my mind.

That could definitely be a nice start! Let us know if you get around to doing it :) No one's mentioning any channels so far, so I assume it hasn't happened yet.

As for other things: I believe voice modding can get annoying if not done properly, such as just changing the pitch which often makes it sound distorted. If someone has professional software to do it properly however, sure thing!

Also I don't think Youtube would take issue with this, as long as the images themselves are SFW: The Google thought police typically gets angry if it's visual porn. Tame vore videos do get flagged by trolls on occasion, who abuse the flagging feature and of course YT still hasn't fixed that... however I never seen it happen to any image slideshow, so I'd say no worries about putting it on there.

This sounds pretty interesting, but also I think the idea would fare better on vore exclusive sites, not prone to flagging and take downs for various amounts of naughtiness and copyrights, ya know?
Something else interesting to consider on the part of the video maker, would be getting those images that lend well to a story being told. In other words, things that would not distract the viewer from the spoken word, while also complementing that voracious theme, whether it be soft, ditsy, intimate, brutal, whatever... That's kind of a tough bill to fit. I suppose if the person had great disposable income they could totally commission custom (probably more on the generic side of) slides just for their videos, and that would probably be pretty darn good, but I think that would be a big and unlikely "if"

Just thought I'd chip all that in :P lol.

Like I said, most video sites don't care as long as anything visual is unarguably SFW. It's not like anyone would dispatch a moderator to actually listen to someone reading a story, on an internet where videos are full of swear words and what not. The only vore videos that somewhat get in trouble are detailed animations, as they're rarer and easier to target whereas envious trolls are more inclined to falsely report them.

Commissioning people to make such videos is an option, though it would probably be unusual. Users who make typical vore slideshows do it in their free time and for fun from what I noticed.

Once more, bumping the thread in hopes that it might encourage someone to consider such content. I think recording one's self reading existing stories is one of the easiest things to suggest... especially on an internet where people post audio of all kinds of stories and fanfics, and vore is the only thing I can think of that appears to have been left out.

I still believe that a Youtube channel for this sort of thing would be safe and the easiest route: YT only seems to go after evident NSFW material, and even then they only care if it's visual porn. If it's just reading a story, especially if it (and any images used as background) are SFW, there's almost always no problem.
