Ace in orientation, bi in vorientation. Might have a slight preference for female preds but very minor. Identify more with the predator (after all, they are the one who's supposed to be enjoying themselves) but have recently realized how fun being prey is as well. Oddly I prefer M/M and F/F to either of M/F or F/M. Predator and prey being the same gender just makes it feel more personal for some reason.

Nope. Not at all.

Male predators only. Preferred male prey. I'm bi, though.

As a gay male, my interests do align. I'm into M/M (and also ?/m, m/?) but I tend to be peculiar. I don't mind girly boys or ones who are effeminate but traps tend to be a maybe/iffy situation for me. I don't mind furry preds/prey as long as they runs more towards human than animal. They I also don't completely mind animals either. I just prefer human/human.

I can enjoy the idea of being pred, prey, or observer as well, since I imagine myself being rather versatile in other places.

That is outstanding!

For me (a straight guy) I don't care what the predator is. Male, Female, Other, Plant, Vegetable, or Mineral. I like them all.

But the Prey HAS to be a female; preferably human (or at least with mostly human features).

I only identify as the predator, which is why I only like females as the prey/victims.

Pretty simple actually.

Straight dude into female preds. I see vore as a sexual act kind of like kissing so gender is a big deal, at least if it's non-fatal anyway. So here's my favorite orientations from favorite to least:

F/M: my absolute favorite as the male prey is relatable
F/F: Not as relatable, but still really nice. I'm looking at beautiful females and vore so I still enjoy it.
M/F: I don't go out of my way looking for it and it has to be done the right way where the female is enjoying herself and it's trying to self insert the predator. Stories are always fine, but in art, feral preds only. It's very rare, but I do actually like a lot of these.
M/M: It's like asking a straight guy what they thought about a gay porno. No offense to anyone gay and whatever floats your boat, but that doesn't float mine.

Just to keep it simple, I'm just defining two genders. I do like ambiguous gender ferals in either role because they can be whatever I want them to be. Anything else not mentioned, I don't want to see in vore or any other porn.

The more I think about it, the more I'm coming to understanding that for me vore and sex are absolutely separate things. In vore I prefer male preds and female preds NOT because I love men in sex, but just because IMO males are much more hot for being preds. They are bigger, stronger, their stomaches are more ruthless and produce more gastric juice. Their metabolism is faster and they need more protein, and when they are hungry, they devour everything. This is perfect for being pred. In my sexual dreams, I can't say that I PREFER lesbians, but many of my sexual fantasies are with another girl. Girls are more sensitive, emotional, somewhere deep inside me I love the sexual partner to be soft and sensual, but not rude.
Plus... YES, some of animal vore stuff turns me on. This absolutely doesn't mean that I'm a zoophile, and thinking about sex with animal is disgusting.

Hmmm...

As a lesbian, I tend to shy away from Male involvement in both areas.

That being said, sexy, effeminate Herms (I don't use this term myself but it seems that most people here do...) that are dressed gorgeously are definitely a favorite of mine (for both areas).

As far as macro/micro/furry/anthro/human/etcetera, I'm much less into macro/micro than I am into same-size.
Also, I like predators of many types, both human and non-human.

I am prey, always prey. However, I do have to, to a degree, assume the role of predator when I'm writing my stories.

But males, are always sidelined. Sorry, that's just how things are.
Okay, there are SOME exceptions. Non-sentient animals, like wolves, lions, sharks, whales, etcetera, gender really makes no difference because it's not like I'm going to be engaging in any sort of bestiality with said predator first.

Now, that being said, it does NOT mean that a well-written story with parts I don't necessarily care for isn't a story I cannot appreciate (the contortionist story I read recently was damn sexy), it is just not likely to have as much of an impact.

Now, why is it that I am only into F/F vore?

Honestly, it was what I was first into because of The Teacher From The Black Lagoon.

When it comes to vore, I largely prefer females as preds, I guess that'd mean heterovoracious since I'm a male too?

I'm going to further confirm the theory. I am heterosexual male, and am drawn to female preds.

I would add a slight wrinkle, however, in that I really like women who embrace some stereotypically male forms of manner and clothing. I guess that's because I am drawn to competent and empowered women (so empowered that they are able to swallow me up whole). The dominant culture pushes men to act and dress in ways that symbolizes competence, whereas women are pushed to appear less so. (The latter is, thankfully, slipping.)

I'm pansexual and gender tends to be basically irrelevant to me in vore as long as the characters in question are attractive to me.

Hetero male, and that definitely influences my vore tastes. Female pred is greatly preferred, when I am being my usual observer self. If not, then non-feral preds and female prey. More so if I am personally involved as pred (my preferred role). So yeah; ladies are delicious to look at and to eat. F/F is a favorite of mine, as it's best of both.

As for me(male/prey): I can only accept female preds. Though I know we're all looking the same inside and once down, the least of your worries is what kind of
species/gender this stomach belongs to but I personally struggle with every fiber of my being against the thought of a male gobbling me up...
As for the prey, it really doesn't since it's gonna be all the same a few hours later :D

Not that i never liked anything with male preds, but i am heavily into female preds, i just find them much cuter and pretty and very heavily prefer the female form, the closest thing to a male that i actually like are herms or transexuals(shemales for example) as preds.

I hate feral preds and plant preds, if the pred isn't human or anthro then i have zero to no interest, don't ask me why, but i can sincerely say there isn't one single picture/story with a feral or plant pred that i like, that's how i much i hate them.

As for prey, it doesn't matter, i like them all, female, male, giant, small, even normal animals work as long as it's a female pred eating them.

I think this applies for me as well. I'm a straight male, and I very heavily prefer Female preds to male ones, no preference on prey though. I also used to strictly like Human or Humanoid preds like Elves, but overtime I have grown to like anthros/furries as well.

That made me choke on my coffee a bit.

It certainly does seem like a lot of people could be influenced by their sexual orientation, I'm not a picky eater, but an impossibly picky person for sexual preferences, so I guess that's where my orientations differ.

Personally I could do vore with anyone, I spout a sort of pansexuality (panvorality?) but I have a special preference for Futa and Female preds. Femboys are great too. Though oddly I won't go near Cmales. I don't know why.

Honestly the real stinger in a vore scenario is less of gender and much more species, body type, and especially kinkiness. Over-all kinkiness is the best part about a roleplay.
