Re: your vore orientation?
Mine as a prey is: Absolutely into herm / shemale predators, totally into female predators, sometimes into male predators. Also only into anthro and / or feral predators, never ever humans (though they make good prey in my book).

Re: your vore orientation?
I'm bisexual, but I usually prefer males in vore, as both predators and prey. It does depend on context though - I think some sorts of predator-prey dynamic work better with females. I think a lot of this may just be because I don't come across much of what I'm into that's not gay (unless it's MLP, for some reason).
I do like MLP vore stuff, but it does tend to be same-size soft vore, which I don't like as much as hard vore or larger preds, so I tend to enjoy M/M stuff more than anything else because of the content, rather than because of the sex of the characters.

Isn't it weird that most of heterosexual vorarephile men prefer strongly female preds, but usually OK with both F and M preys? Even though M/f vore is no less heterosexual than F/m, but F/f is no less homosexual than M/m.

Re: your vore orientation?
Emi, I think it is because a lot of emphasis is put on the preds in the scenario. All their focus is on that, and they can imagine themselves as prey regardless of who is on the menu.
Sin it to win it!

Re: your vore orientation?
I would say that my sexual orientation and my "vorientation" pretty emphatically don't match up.
In real life - cisgender female, fluid bisexual leaning slightly more toward heterosexual, possibly somewhere in the gray area of the ace spectrum.
In vore - I ID with the pred, and I almost always prefer that pred to be male. My preference varies between female and male prey, but I guess I'd say M/F is fundamentally my favorite dynamic. Mostly through writing prey perspective (or at least that of observers who can imagine themselves in the prey perspective - you might notice, if you read my writing, that these are people who do not actually end up getting eaten themselves), I've come to appreciate certain aspects of that perspective and why people enjoy it, but it's only putting myself in the pred's shoes, thinking his thoughts and feeling his feelings, that really gets me going.
2024 edit: turns out I'm a bisexual transmasc lol

Well, it's femdom. The idea is that the female is in a position of power. Over whom is irrelevant, as it could just as easily be someone of either sex.
The real question is who has a strong preference for both halves of a scene. I think most people either focus on what the pred is or what the prey is, but not both.
Personally, I'm asexual, but attracted to women, and prefer F preds in vore. It might be worth noting that I'm generally more interested in fictional characters for vore than real people.

Re: your vore orientation?
This was an early conundrum with me when I first got into Vore. I'm Bisexual myself, yet initially I was only fantasizing female preds, prey could go either way for me. My sexual fantasies rarely if ever crossed my vore fantasies, and is still a very separate part of who I am. My tastes haves expanded since then though and while I still prefer a female pred in most cases, I am quite comfortable with a male pred as well. Prey preference was never a thing for me, they're just food.

Re: your vore orientation?
As for me, I only take human male predators, ones that are preferably much bigger than me, like giants. I prefer being the submissive, frightened, or masochistic female prey, since I am a girl. I enjoy sadistic predators, but I also like gentle giants at times as well. Giantesses or otherwise female predators do nothing for me. I`m also not really turned on by animal predators either.
Prey-leaning switch gal and writer with a passion for M/F vore and a love for being devoured by giant men of all kinds.

I'm a lesbian in real life, but with vore, I like both male and female preds (usually non-human either way, though).

It's already been mentioned, but the person of affection, if you will, is the female and the fantasy is being eaten. It's a tad harder to identify with female prey, but that barely affects it. Female prey are also nice to look at anyway.
The fact that men tend to care about the predator more while women tend to care about both speaks for itself the way the different sexes think. Even outside of vore men tend to enjoy lesbian stuff while women tend to prefer heterosexual.
Of course these things are tendencies and I know very well that they aren't always true. I've seen enough of the Fire Emblem community to know that there are girls that like their yaoi.

Re: your vore orientation?
For me, I'd say yes.
The pred pretty much in 99.9% of cases has to be female (for the 0.1% of cases, if you're wondering, I still think "man, this'd be even better with a female pred!").
I'm a lot less picky when it comes to prey - although the very BEST stories/pics for me involve male prey, for the usual "because I can relate" reason.

Yes, in most cases yes. I know many girls who enjoys yaoi. Girls are usually not so much homophobs liks heterosexual men. I'm a girl, and I'm absolutely OK with yaoi, and in some cases I truly enjoy lesbian porn (one of my fav) even though I'm hetero in life. This looks weird for me too, vore and sex stay different. And even as I enjoy lesbian sex, I don't enjoy F/f vore much. I'm OK with gay sex, but don't enjoy it much, but M/m vore is cool for me, in some cases no less than M/f. That is strange when fetish and sex preferences go different.

As a lesbian I, uhm...I resemble this remark to a scary degree. I like and draw M/M and M/F a fair bit, despite F/F being the only one with a sexual interest for me. Guys are still nice to look at in clean pictures and it kinda feels good to draw something underrepresented since my own preferences are already plenty popular here? Honestly I think I just like mixing things up in vore, which is in pretty sharp contrast to my sexuality There's some overlap but they definitely don't align all the time.

Not really. I'm a bisexual male but for the most part I like male predators better and only like female preds in F/F situations.

Re: your vore orientation?
I guess you could say I'm a bi male IRL I like specific men and women, however when I'm not horny I don't like either so I guess I'm Bi/A sexual. When it comes to vore I only like male preds mainly due to the fact that I like to imagine that I'm in there place, don't really get off to the fact that it's some other guy enjoying the situation lol. I don't like female preds at all especially for anal vore, they don't bug me as much if they're eating other women, because to me a female is the better choice of prey out of the two options. M/F and M/M are fine given the fact the male's the pred in both, not into anything other human vore. I still enjoy furry pics.

Re: your vore orientation?
I'm pansexual and masculine nonbinary identifying, and I strongly prefer male or agender predators. I'm more likely to ID as prey or an observer, but I have no disinct preference over the prey so long as there isn't a big play on their gender as part of the vore dynamic (like how a lot of female pred work gets very femdom-y and it plays up the "i am a woman eating a puny man ha ha"... idk it just doesn't do anything for me) which is why I like drawing ambiguous prey in a lot of my art.

Though this doesn't apply to me, I think this is generally the case. I could be way off, but I think for the people that are into human/human, vore is a replacement for sex. Therefore, the participants line up with their sexual preferences.
Jayezox wrote:The fact that men tend to care about the predator more while women tend to care about both speaks for itself the way the different sexes think. Even outside of vore men tend to enjoy lesbian stuff while women tend to prefer heterosexual.
This is pure speculation on my part, since there's no way to know for sure, but it seems like majority of the vore base are typical average straight dudes. If that is the case, and that's the reason F/M (samesize or giantess) is one of the most popular forms of vore, then I am at a loss to explain myself. I am a typical average straight dude, but I care more about gender of prey than I do predator. Prey must be female for me, but I have no preference on pred. Though, it should be noted that I'm not into human/human vore. I'm also more observer than prey, but I do sympathize and identify with prey.
Jayezox wrote:It's a tad harder to identify with female prey, but that barely affects it.
Again, I seem to go against the grain on this one. I do identify with female prey. If I'm not observer I will rarely insert myself as prey. I will typically imagine the scenario from a female perspective.
Jayezox wrote:Female prey are also nice to look at anyway.
Hrm. Perhaps that explains it.

So... to recap and respond to the actual thread topic:
IRL Orientation: Straight Male
Vorientation: ?/F, Oral, Soft (Observer leaning towards prey)
